Im not sure about the schedule of the annual summer shootout but there is the regular TAC qualifying series every other week plus the NASA Mighty Gripper races. What we normally have for 13.5 is the boosted class while blinky is limited to 17.5. If you have an F1, the F1 RC club will most likely have a race too in April. See in 2 months

Default Race results of MGR Round 1 (Feb.1.2014)

1st round of MGR report and results is here.

We enjoyed to play 13.5T, 17.5T, open wheels class on last saturday.

Open wheels class had 5 players, it was not so much. But we had a new "TQ winner" in the open wheels(F1) class. Its was Mr.Coco jam. He also was held "a fastest lap of the day" on that full day. It was a really great job, he've made it with his 180mm narrow F1 chassis against 200mm F1 chassis.

Manila F1 club race founder Allan came back to MGR open wheels class. And we knew that he was still good old driver in this class. He've had 2nd in there.

●Open wheel class Qualifying results●

1st. Jun Manego SJF01:time (20.019s)
2nd. Allan corico F103: time (20.144s)
3rd. Ramund F104Pro: time (21.005s)
Rey F104V2:didn't run Qualifying
Jomile SJF01:didn't run Qualifying

●Race results● ( 3times of 8 minutes races)
H1, H2, H3, Race best time, ave time, best vs ave
1st. Jun manego (3 / 2 / 1) 18.625s 19.554s (-0.929s)
2nd. Allan (2 / 1 / 2) 18.763s 19.622s (-0.859s)
3rd. Rey (4 / 4 / DR) 21.736s 24.075s (-2.339s)
4th. Raymund (5 / 3 / 3) 20.565s 21.416s (-0.851s)
5th. Jomile (1 / DR / DR) 18.691s 19.938s (-1.247s)

!7.5T non boosted class became so tight time battle, its because of control FDR. But, no one couldn't stop him.
Its him, one of most experience manila racer Noel aldaba won!
Even He didn't run qualifying then he had back grid started.

The handicap rules actually worked on his car.., but He was so faster than others at his cornering speed. Now he is going to carry 4 pinion gear handicap for next MGR and JPR race.

Look at Rains,Denis, and Jason's best lap! We've never see like this so close yet right?

●17.5T non boosted Qualifying results●

1st. rains viela 417V5: time 17.900s
2nd. Jason dela cruz 417smokem: time 17.900s
3rd. Denis Lusindo TCXX: time 17.960s
4th. yuichiro takaya TB04Pro: time 18.900s

●Race results● ( 3times of 8 minutes races)

3rd. Jason dela crus (2 / 6 / 3) 17.219s 18.032s (-0.813)
4th. Denis Lusindo (4 / 4 / 2) 16.942s 17.716s (-0.774)
5th. Rains viela (5 / 2 / 4) 17.664s 18.006s (-0.342)
6th. Manito Manego (3 / 5 / 5) 17.990s 18.274s (-0.284)
7th. Ramund (6 / 7 / 6) 18.320s 18.844s (-0.524)

Sad to say the 13.5T class was just 4 players. JP,Ralph,Mikey,Jerome L, Joseph etc, Common 13.5T class winners were not there. Thats why It became just taka's show time..

New player Denis was showing us very nice driving in 13.5T class too. But this class car need too much set-up and also need a experiments to have enough competitive car.. this is the problem for all new players in the 13.5T. All new player must have a buddy who had good experience, we think.
For all new players, Please don't hesitant to have a assist for your car and ESC set-up from me, Ralph, and Mikey at the race track.

●13.5T boosted class Qualifying●

1st. Yuichiro Takaya 417 V5 time: 15.620s
2nd. Jason dela cruz 418 time: 17.190s
3rd. Jerome span spec-R time: 18.329s
Denis Lusindo 418 didn't run

●Race results● ( 3times of 5 minutes races)
H1, H2, H3, Race best, ave time, best vs ave
1st. Yuichiro Takaya (1 / 1 / 1) 14.923s 15.190s (-0.267s)
2nd. Jason dela cruz (2 / 2 / DR) 16.023s 16.778s (-0.755s)
3rd. Jerome span (3 / 3 / 2) 16.807s 17.483s (-0.676s)
4th. Denis Lusindo (4 / 4 / 3) 16.636s 18.596s (-1.960s)

I'd like to introduce some important thing to be faster for you. That is "best vs ave" you can see on my this race report.
This must be below 0.5s if your want to be winner in any class I guess.
So, Manito(-0.248s), Rains(-0.342s), were very good driver that I can see it, This time.
If Manila and Rains has more good set-up car, sure they will have more good results. As you know, You can make "best vs ave" better by "consistent driving". Manito's -0.248s was really impressive!!

We are looking for more player come! see you next guys!
(Next MGR is feb. 15 together MF1club race)

Special thanks for JP raceway!

Thank you Taka for the nice race last saturday. Your commentary on Manito's consistent driving is surprising considering that it was his first race after being sidelined for several months. I will let him know this to motivate him to race more often. Thanks and see you on Feb 15.
