tatalope: no prob pare! practis lang yan. just be patient at makukuha mo rin. regarding tires, i would not suggest na mag foam tires ka sa practice runs mo. kasi ang layo ng handling nya from rubber. pag dating sa race, maninibago ka pag gumamait ka na ng sorex. the best is to practice with the same gear that you will use when you race. otherwise medjo useless ang practice mo.

pitshop: ako kahit ano. basta annouonce nyo lang in advance para ma-block off ng racers ang schedule nila.

lem: as mentioned, im game for anything. ok din pag gabi or late afternoon mag umpisa para di masyado mainit. but mornign is fine. if i do run in saturday though, i dont think i'll run on sunday for the offroad race. one day lang per weekend ako. nami-miss ko pamilya ko pag two days ko di nakikita eh. tsaka djahe din sa kanila.

BLP: kung ginawa bang umaga makakalaro ka?

TLOPE and MRACER - Ganyan ganyan din kami dati, tapos alaskahan pagdating sa RC Tech about it. . . . . Kaya nakikita nyo pa rin ngayon kung papaano apihin yung aming chairman na si ITIM at treasurer na si KURIPS. . . . . . Wait til you guys actually race together tapos ganyan din ang resulta hehehehe.

The important thing is you have fun and that you improve as time goes by.

ROBO - Baka maspwede ako if it were held in the late afternoon or PM. Activity here in the office starts Friday night kasi eh.

ROUGH - Tama na muna yung ikaw yung natrau-traumatize ko. Tsaka na si TLOPE kapag gradwyet ka na.

Pare kung ubos kaagad sorex mo after 2 races lang, I don't think it will make any difference kung may makita ka mas heavy duty na slick tires. Siguro marami na yung 3 races kung sakali. I'm sure meron tips si Rough on how to minimize tire wear.

So far tatlong gulong nagamit ko sa mga past races/practice runs.
Sorex 32, Tamiya Type B, and Sorex 36(2nd hand). Limited run palang yung Type B and Sorex 36 kaya no idea kung mga ilan race kakayanin ng mga ito. Yung Sorex 32 naka 2 1/2 sa race and 1 practice run na. Mukhang pwede pa siya 2 to 3 race day on december.

Default TATALOPE

try using WD-40 on the tires 10 minutes before each run.

It sort of prevents undue wear on them, plus its also a good traction compound---- Not that you need traction compound at capitol. It works ry it!

TLOPE - As shared with you, one thing you can do is rotate your tires after every run. Malakas talaga ang wear ng right front, because of the direction the cars run and the layout. If you don't rotate, chances are that the tire on the right front of your car will wear more prematurely than the others. Next would be the right rear. In my case, I use about 1 set every month (4 weekends at about 6 to 8 packs per weekend).

You can expect the life of your onroad tire to be considerably shorter than offroad tires though.

Tatalope : These are some tips to minimize tire wear.

1. Fly baby, Fly!!! the more time your car spends off the ground, the less wear on the tire...

2. Go slow especially around the corners This way you will minimize the cornering wear and tear. Go fast only on the straights. Using a johnson/mabuchi silver can motor will help you accomplish this.

3. as much as possible, keep your kit parked at the pit table. If you must drive, go to the driver's stand and ask the peson driving to let you test-drive his car.

AULDEY BOY - Thanks. I'll definitely take you up on your offer on giving me tips on how to make my Yokomo CGM go faster, in order for me to possibly catch up with your Auldey.

. . . . Hope the tracks you were referring to was Capitol Speedway. Current lap record there is 12.8 secs. I'm normally there by 830am.
