rnold: ay offical confrmation on the requested 1420g weight limit for open stock? would be good if you could give feedback so the racers can prepare this weekend since there is a race which many will be attending also to get ready for the Futaba Cup ... (and the shabu shabu of course!)

Mitch, Gerry, ANG HIRAP I-SOLDER YUNG WIRES SA POTEC!!!

How'd you guys do it? Ganito ba? I tried, pero ang wire ayaw pumasok sa notches kasi masyadong mataba! Patong lang then solder ba yung wires or kailangan nakapasok? Help gurus!!!

What I did is cut some wires para pumasok sa butas
Salpak na yan!! Lapit na saberday!!

Did the same thing more or less... Hirap ma swak sa butas dude. Anyway, bili ng bagong tip ako for my soldering iron later, yung flat chiseled type, might help. Game na!!!

try lightly tinning the strip end of the wire. don't apply too much or it reallyharden

then get a big pair of pliers and squeeze the end to flatten it enough so it fits the slot

wala lang, baka makatulong.

Ilang watts ang recommended sa soldering iron? Hirap din kasi ako mag mount ng wires sa Deans connectors. I use a 60 watt iron (yung totoong 60 watt ). Kasi I always end up melting the Deans connectors.

Use 100watts pero wag ibabad yung iron sa board baka matunaw.

gamit kayo ng dalawang soldering irons, sabay nyo gamitin para mabilis madikit yung wires at para maiwasan uminit yung board. kakailanganin nyo nga lang ng apat na kamay.
