I understand you guys, even I was surprised but we must face reality. I heard rumors that starting this year the Stock Touring class is no longer a pure TT-01 spec race... They are changing it into Super Stock Touring class and have allowed the use of TA05, TA05 IFS and TB03 kits with controlled FDR of course. And looks like the control motor will be Sport tuned and not the silvercan 540 Johnson anymore. But I think if you will use the 3 kits mentioned you will not be allowed to use front one-ways, only the TT-01 will be allowed to use it. And I think the minimum weight of the TT-01 vs the other mid-level kits will have a difference of 50g if I am not mistaken... I can only speculate as it is still unverified.

In other words, chismax lang mga bro! Hehehe!

We'll see come March guys...we've yet to see the layout anyway. Besides, tama ba ko kiri, yung layout last year in Malaysia(?) was really, really tight compared to what we run in JP??? Puro liko na u-turn???

We could be in for some surprises.

If you're referring to the Speed Passion 11.5T motors (which i think they used in titc) then mejo malabo mangyari yon. From what i've read, unfortunately the rating of SP motors is different from most other manufacturers like orion, lrp, novak, etc ..... which is really what messes things up kasi nagpa-iba sila. Dont get me wrong, the SP motors are great and i use them myself in mod but but its kinda hard to slot them into our current format for stock. kaya ang alam ko, sa ROAR sa US, which is the first sanctioning body to allow and define clear rules for BL motors in spec classes, di pasok ang SP. sa TITC walang problema yun kasi lahat SP ginamit sa spec class. another thing is, if we allow 11.5s, if i run an Orion/LRP/Trinity/Novak 11.5, they will be waaaaay faster than the SP 11.5s. those are already slow modified motor equivalents. so again, you see where the difference lies between the SP winds and those of other manufacturers. also as it is, we cant even get everyone to run 13.5s in the spec class .... some still use 23t brushed motors. like i always say during our races - spec racing is a tricky class. its a class that really needs a lot of tech and know how among the organizers. BUT, unfortunately there is no one here locally who has those skills or know how to really enforce these specs (regardless if brushed or brushless) --thats just the plain truth about the matter.

Anyway as it is naman mukhang nakakasabay kahit papano ang 23t sa 13.5 - sure maybe there are advantages of one over the other pero sa ngayon ok na tayo diyan. So for now, wag na natin paguluhin pa. Masaya naman yung class as it is and its already an accepted compromise having 13.5s run with the 23T. In short, laro na! hehehe

hehehehe, naisip ko lang naman. medyo naguguluhan na din ako sa mga spec motors eh lalo na ngayon meron 11.5/23t equivalent from hongkong ata then may 13.5/27t naman like those from what you said SP nga. buti pa kayo sa mod medyo malinaw yung rules unlike sa stock class.

kelan ba laro????
