2nd MASAAKI HIROSAKA CHALLENGE - JAN 17, JP RACEWAY
2009 IS HERE! AND THE RACING EXCITEMENT BEGINS WITH THE ....
And what better way to kick of the new RC year than with our dear friend and world renowned RC living legend Masaaki Hirosaka who is once again coming back to Manila with Kyosho Factory Driver Nicolas Lee!
Nicolas will be racing with us once more in the Modified Class! For those who missed his visit last year, this is your chance to see some fast and smooth driving from an honest to goodness team driver!

When: Jan. 17, 2009
Where(else): JP RACEWAY, Race Proper starts 11am sharp!!!
What: 1/10th Scale Electric Touring Car Racing
Race Fees: P600 for 1st entry, P150 for every additional entry.
The Race Classes:
Open Modified (no motor limits! brushed and brushless allowed)
Open Super Stock Class (23T Brushed and 13.5 Brushless allowed)
Open Silver Can Class
The Class Rules:
Chassis: Any Brand /10th scale, 4wd TC chassis
Body: Any 190mm Touring Car Bodies only for the Modified and Super Stock Classes. (Only Silver Can Class will be allowed to used other 190mm on road bodies)
Weight: 1,500grams with transponder (race ready set up)
Batteries: LiPoly and NiMh (6-Cell) allowed
Tires:TC Rubber Tires and Rims Only (any brand)
Race Format:
Qualifying: 3 rounds, best round counts!
Finals/Mains: Triple Finals for A & B Main, with best two rounds to count. In case of a tie, best run made during the finals will determine the winner of the tie break.
Trophies to be awarded to top 3 A-Main Finsihers and Medals for B-Main champions of each class.
*Afternoon snacks will be served!
Other Important Race Rules to Remember:
1) Tech/Impound Area - we will have a tech and impound area during the race. Immediately after each heat is run, ALL drivers are required to deposit their cars and transmitters in the tech/impound area and proceed directly to their marshalling post on track. Drivers can only get thier cars/radios after marshalling. ***PLEASE take this rule into consideration if you intend to run more than one class. Although we will try our best to fix the groupings so you can have at least one heat in between your runs, this may not always be possible. Best is to have multiple cars for multiple classes (suggestion lang po).
2) Marshalling - We will again do turn marshalling for this race. And we will strictly enforse the 1-lap deduction for those who do not marshall.
3) Driver Pentalties - we will enforce penalties for rough driving. A drive by area will be set up at the track. Should a driver refuse to do a drive by despite being advised to do so, a 1-lap dedcution will be implemented. BUT, if you drive clean, then you dont really have anything to worry about. So drive clean guys!

REMINDERS:
