as announced in the past....

we will be allowing certain "ARCOR" motors until November this year.... then we will phase them out na rin. Please ask na lang if you have an ARCOR motor so we can tell you kung pwede pa siya...

this is to accomodate those who have purchased these motors during the time when they were actually the legal ones. These include Banzai and Paradigm

MANGPIT - Ala lang ser . . . gusto ko lang malaman kung kakasuhan ako ng magiting nating moderator for wanting to increase my number of posts with useless reactions.

Seriously though, I respect your decision sir.

Speaking of motors, any new shipments sir? More specifically, have your Fantom motors arrived? Are modified motors included in the batch?

ROUGH - Tungkol sa 19T yung previous posts. Bale, the general rule is that ang allowed lamang ay yung mga fixed timing (24 degree) 19T motors na ROAR approved. The only exception will be the previous batch of 19Ts brought in sometime late last year.

Sir BLP, Sir Gerry

What's a good 19T to buy for Capitol track?

A lot of people in the Electric On road forum are saying that 19T is the "true spec class". Ewan ko kung bakit. They're also saying that stock mtr racing is lot more expensive than mod racing

Anyway, just in case Pitshop Boss pushes 19T as a class for both mod and stock racers, I'd like to acquire one sana. Please advice on the best 19T available locally.

But PITSHOP BOSS (and Fantom, I think) has stopped selling this since 2 years ago. So I guess there's no point in recommending this to you guys.

Next bet would be the Reedy Quad Mag 19T. From the box, all you have to do is gear it to about 6.0 sa Capitol, and you're ready to go. If you want more uumph, palit ka lang ng brushes (Reedy 766/767, Putnam Green/Blue) and springs (Trinity red/purple). Ok na. Magnets seem to be great too . . . . to the point na pde ka lang magpalit ng armature kapag ubos na yung comm, (if you're on a budget). . . . 19 single pa rin, of course.

Price, I believe these go for 2 to 2.5k. Depends on whether you get the Pro series or just the ordinary ones.

ROUGH - There's actually some truth in stock being more expensive than modified racing. . . . as far as motors are concerned. For one, you don't have to spend as much to go faster in modified . . .

Runtime no longer is an issue, since most use GP3300s already. This is more than adequate even for a 10turn motor being driven by an amateur.

I'd love to smoke everyone in my main but won't the motor go up in a smoke first with a 6.0 gear ratio? Kasi the monster stock dies at 6.0 di ba?

Anyone who is looking for a good substitute for mabuchi/johnson. Maganda yung monster stock pro. Yung armature and brush still looks pretty good after 20+ battery packs. Highly recommended for those on a tight budget.

Mga 6 - 8 batt packs lang yata, u need to cut or atleast shim ur comm.

Mixing armatures and cans is ILLEGAL in all spec classes (thats 27 and 19)

The Quad 19t is still the best choice atm, the Chameleon2 is still available but since it is inferior (and same price) wag na lang...

The limited edition Chameleons BLP is talking about is unfortunately no longer available...

Spec 19t should be the best spec class imo

1. Motors are relatively cheap ; priced similar to stock and cheaper than most mods

2. Bearings make it better than stock

3. Its not too slow and they rarely burn up

4. Not too fast for some people na ilang pa sa speed

After one more club race na mod.... we'll move on to stock muna and spec 19t para sama sama ulit... testing....

Briangomez: the stock springs should do fine. Just bend them to about 180 deg in the pos side and about 160 deg on the neg side for better power and less arching of the brushes. you dont need as much tension in higher wind motors (stock or 19) to make speed. in fact too stiff will make it drag more. but of cors as Big Jim would say, its better to over spring than under spring.

rough: the reedy 19T really needs to be geared taller to get the power out of it. dont be affraid to gear it similar to a monster. actually, with the new layout of capitol, a final drive ratio of about 6.3 seems to work well.
