PITSHOP BOSS - Would appreciate it if you could provide me(us) some more clarification on the wing rules:

1. One wing allowed; fitted in the same place as the wing on the original car
Q: Are we allowed to mix-match? Ex. Mazda 6 wing fitted onto the back of a Stratus 2.0

2. Wing must be fastened to the rear deck.

3. Rear edge of the wing may not overhang the rear of the body by more than .4
Q: Rear of the body meaning tip of the rear bumper or tip of the trunk lid? What unit of measurement?

Salamat in advance sir!!!

. . . . and congratulations on your 500th post.

Talking Question Time

1. How do you guys align the brush hoods?

The brush holder assembly is composed of two plates spot-welded together, one assembly for each brush. So, I need to loosen both the philips screw and the spring post so I can move the brush holder?

How do I know if the brushes are aligned na?

2. San nakakabili ng spring post wrench?

What else can I do to tune a stock motor? what spring/brush combo do I need?

the motor is a P2K2 pro

If you don't feel like divulging a trade secret in public, you can PM me too... tumaatanggap ako nyan . promise, di ko sasabihin

ROUGH - Maglambing ka kay KURIPS. Meron kasi syang BIG JIM Book that describes in detail the many things you can do to your P2K2 para tumilin ito.

Pagdating naman sa brush, bukod kay KURIPS, maglambing ka rin kina HMAN and STRIKER. Putnam kasi ang na hoard ni KURIPS, Paradigm naman ang kela HMAN.

Offhand, I'd use a Trinity Red/Green spring Putnam Green/Blue brush combo with a P2K2. If comm wear is your concern, go for Trinity 4499s (ata?) or Reedy 767s. Tapos, skim your comm regularly (after each race day). Gearing, start with 6.6 to 6.4. For hood alignment, I use this special tool that was fabricated by KURIPs. (Maglambing ka rin sa kanya about that.)

One thing I can tell you though is this, kapag ang nakatapat mo ay sing galing magmaneho nila HMAN, SLWBT, ROBO, KUPZ, PTSHOP, STRIKER, etc . . . . . alang epek.

. . . . as in iba pa rin ang sipa ng 1.17plus matched pack na mababa ang IR.

ROUGH - 'Rin' meaning bukod sa paglambing mo sa kanya for the Putnam Brushes. Sinubukan ko nang maglambing kay KURIPS dati pero alang nangyari. Iba pa rin ang malagkit nyang tingin kay MOTO nuon, at PITSHOP BOSS naman ngayon.

On question 1, i would assume no mix-matching of wings BUT you'll have to wait for pitshop to confirm that. On question 2, pitshop's post stated .4" so i guess its in inches. not sure on if its measured fromt eh tip of the trunk or the bumper.

This is great! Finally, we get honest to goodness rules. Exciting. We're getting organized. thats a step forward in my books.
