i think meron thread sa international onroad section regarding the formulas.
I did research and found a battery charger calculator. Hope this would help others as well.

eto sir alam ko:

time = capacity / charge rate

where:

time - in hour(s)
capacity - battery capacity in milliampere-hours (mAh); i.e. 3600mAh
charge rate - charger charging rate in milliamperes (mA); i.e. 5.5A = 5500mA

time = 3600mAh/5500mA = 0.655 hours, convert mo to minutes so x 60 = 39.3 minutes.

experts, tama ba ito hehe.

Sir lewd okay na yung formula nyo pero dagdagan pa natin ng 40 percent.

time = 1.4*capacity / charge rate

Xfire : not familiar with your charger. If it does not do peak detect, better buy a decent peak-detecting charger. Mahal ang battery pack

Using this link: http://www.greenbatteries.com/batterycalc.html , a 3600mAh charged on 5500mA came out as 0.8 hours or 48 mins. I'd assume that there is +/- 10% variance in minutes.

I'm using a TLP - Expro II

Feartures:
1) Charging 3000 Ni-MH Batteries at up to 5.5A
2) Charge 4-8 Cells at 0.5A - 5.5A
3) Peak Detector smart circuit with MOSFET pulse For Ni-cad or Ni-MH to 100% without overcharging
4) Lightweight Power-Switching technology unit and smart compact case design
5) Reverse Polarity protection system
6) Auto detect system for input source: 200V AC or 12V car battery
7) Discharging current is 4A, built-in cooling fan
8) Latest software for peak charge, discharge, FUZZY LOGIC and three cycles functions.

Is the above specs sufficient?

I'm new to NI-MH. Came from NI-CDs. Didn't know that time calculations are needed for charging.

rough: thanks pare sorry I sorted the formula out based on theoretical linear charging lang (that is saktong 3600mAh yung capacity). tama there's additional time to consider since most batteries are underrated i.e. the 3600mAh pack could accept charge as much as 4000mAh. a 2400mAh nicd pack could sometimes accept upto 2800, yung IB4200 ko charges about 4500mAh kapag sobrang depleted. thanks again bro.
