Default IRMCC - Pembroke Malta

The National Electric 1/10 Championship is nearing its final with two remaining rounds. Round 9 of the Championship will be held on Sunday 30th April 2006 and racing starts at 4.00pm.

In the modified class current Champion Joshua Anastasi (Yokomo MR-4TC BD)seems to be heading for another National title with a healthy lead on his closest rival Mario Farrugia (X-Ray T2).

In Super-Stock Class evrything is still up for grabs as young Graham Camilleri (X-Ray FK-04) edges Veteran Joe Anastasi (Yokomo MR-4TC BD) by 12 points.

In Stock Class Ray Attard-Previ (TC3) leads the pack with a healthy 41 points. Still highly contested will be second place where Sam Scicluna(Yokomo SD), Chris Curmi (X-Ray FK04) and Anton Briffa (Barracuda R3) are seperated by one point.

Sunday 30th April and the 9th round of the National Electric Touring Car Championship brought with it the mathematical certainty of this year's class winners.

In the Modified class Joshua Anastasi (Yokomo BD) is once again champion. This is his 8th consequtive year. Joshua's car is prepared by his father Joe (John Bull on this forum).

In the Dream Holidays International (DHI) sponsored Cup, Karl Fenech driving his X-ray (TK-04/TK-05) has done enough to take the honours.

In Stock class, this year Ray Attard-Previ has taken the spoils with his old faithful Associated TC3. Ray has won 17 out of 27 races with three races remaining to end the championship. His converted FT-TC3 equipped with Ko-Propo VFS-1 speedcontroller, Futaba Rx/Tx- servo, Nosram Batteries and Corally 21T (hand-out motors), nearly always had the edge on the competition.

What remains open and highly contested is the Super-Stock with Graham Camilleri (X-Ray FK-04) leading the score board closely followed by Bruce Debattista -Xray FK05-(IRMCC President) and Joe Anastasi(Yokomo BD).

The 10th and final round of the 2005/2006 Season is on the 21st May 2006.

IRMCC Track gets a facelift

Over the past couple of weeks, extensive building works were undertaken and a boundary wall was built around the track perimeter. This was a major undertaking by the club's officals together with the help of the Race Director who actively contributed in the works financially and manually.
Well done to all involved.

Hey Ray, nice to see you on here too.

I see Hara's gone for some interesting motors and cells.

We know all about the speed of Checkpoint motors, Malta Champion Joshua having used them to good effect all season.

Well done on that win in the stock class with the old faithful. Just proves you need more skill than gold to win.
