After second success and great support from all racers, we are glad to announce Round 3 Nam Lee Cup will be held on 26th October. The racing spirit remains a stress-free, fun and fair racing! Have a weekend fun of close neck to neck racing.

This race event is co-sponsor by RC Planet, Hobby Haven, RC Pitstop, Ride Malaysia and Team Powers Malaysia

The race is open to all interested drivers open to all (Except hobby shop owners).

Mini Class Boosted Class 17.5

1. Brushless Motor –
a. 17.5 turn (Open to all brands, must be in original condition).
b. Motor timing - Adjustment allowed (Sensor board modification NOT ALLOWED)
c. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is not allowed (Ceramic bearing and rotor modification is NOT ALLOWED).
d. Wires of speed controller can be soldered directly to motor.

2. Brushless E.S.C –
a. Open E.S.C (Timing and turbo functions ALLOWED)
b. Battery wires can be modified at the bottom of connecter to accept other types of speed controller connecters. Wire length must exceed 5cm.
c. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the E.S.C is not allowed (Inclusive of adding additional capacitors and other E.S.C influencing device.) Only battery plugs can be changed.

3. Tires, Rims and Inserts –
a. Open rubber tires only (NO sponge tires are allowed)
b. NO touring car tires allowed.
c. Tire warmer and tires treatment allowed.
d. Only 2 set throughout the race including final (Tires will be marked each round with sticker or colour)
e. Replacement for damaged wheel (Eg. Cracked, broken) is allowed but subjected to approval from Race Director.
f. Spoke rims only (Any brand so long designed for M-Chassis application).

4. Bodyshells –
a. Only realistic ABC, Tamiya, HPI, Blitz, SPICE mini bodyshell are allowed (NO touring or cartoon miniature type bodyshells are allowed).
b. High Roof (Wing that comes with the bodyshell is allowed)
c. 1-10 scale and 1-12 scale are allowed.
d. All car bodies must be painted and complete with decal sticker.

5. Drive Train & Transmission –
a. 5.80 (min) Final Drive Ratio.
b. Gear differential is allowed.

6. Chassis –
a. Tamiya M03, M04, M05 M06 & ABC Gambado are only are allowed. (Short, Medium, Long wheelbase are accepted)
b. Conversion to Evo or other carbon chassis is not allowed.
c. Modification to allow square LiPOs to fit allowed.
d. Cars have to retain original wheel drive concept, no 4WD of twin motor configuration will be allowed.
e. Option parts from Tamiya, Yeah Racing, others are allowed.
f. Clearance under main chassis parts must exceed 3mm before the race.
g. Any form of driving aid is not allowed to be use. (Eg. Gyro, Active Steering Assist Unit)
h. Min Weight - 1200g (Ready to race with transponder and bodyshell)

7. Batteries –
a. 2S 7.4v LiPos, 6.6v LiFes, NiMH are allowed (Only hardcase or enclosed type batteries).
b. Shorty packs are allowed.
c. Tamiya oval type LiPos allowed, Square type LiPos allowed.
d. Resting voltage of 2 cell LiPo should be NOT MORE than 8.44V.

8. Race Format and Condition -
a. All cars’ weight will be inspected after each race.
b. 3 qualifying rounds at 5 minutes each.
c. Qualifying method based on point system.
d. Triple A Main at 5 minutes each (Best 2 out of 3)
e. Double B Main at 5 minutes each (Best 1 out of 2)
f. Single final run at 5 minutes each for the rest mains.
g. Top 3 fastest cars will be inspected by Race Organizers (Motor, battery, ESC).

Important Remarks: NO house transponders provided. Racers are required to bring/buy their own.
