Dear racers......
Prepare yourself for the new challenge that MNC 2014 will bring.
A new category is now introduced in MNC 2014 to be more in line with international racing. Pro / sponsored / subsidised drivers will be taking to the track with mod motors (10.5t and lower). Other interested drivers are also encouraged to participate in this class.....the fastest cars on the race track.
For MNC EP's most popular class - the SuperStock class - rules will remain unchanged. Its popularity is evident from the number of participants in this class at every round in 2012 and 2013 season. SuperStock class will continue to run 13.5t motor assisted by boost. But JMRCA-approved motors are now allowed to be used. To ensure closer racing and no big advantage to anyone, RCAC will limit motors to 3300kv and 2.0A amp draw on all 13.5t motors.
A new motor turn requirement is also introduced for Stock class. The past 2-3 years, Stock class have been running 17.5t motor but without the assistance of boost in the esc to cater for our new friends (newbies, first time racers etc etc) in RC. To create a far more exciting racing and faster speeds in this class, RCAC is changing the motor requirement to 13.5t but still non-boosted. RCAC has also open tender to any distributors who may wish to submit a proposal for a closed esc/motor combo for this class. Please watch this space for any updates.
For Mini.....we propose to retain the same rules as we have in the past. Mini class has always been a close racing affair. But to create a more cost effective and even closer racing, RCAC has open tender to any distributors who may wish to submit a proposal for a closed esc/motor combo for this class. Please watch this space for any updates. Additionally, since the use of brush motors are no longer popular, only brushless motors will be allowed in 2014.
Tires will continue to be controlled for the 2014 race season for EP Touring. The RIDE Malaysian distributor has confirmed they will be supplying MNC EP with RIDE 32. These tires provide better grip in corners and better forward traction for cars, which ultimately will promote closer racing amongst racers. Wear and tear may be slightly higher as a result, but the higher grip and traction is a benefit we would all enjoy.
After 2-3 years of consistent and unchanged categories/class and rules in MNC.....RCAC hopes that the new changes introduced in 2014 will make MNC more exciting and attract more racers to participate in the Malaysian EP racing premier race series. Various racing tracks were chosen to further excite racers. Titiwangsa with its long straights and flowing corners outdoor asphalt track, 3Stone RC Park with its technical layout and short straight outdoor asphalt track, Gangsa Melaka with its long straight and slightly technical layout outdoor asphalt track, Batu Gajah with its indoor asphalt track with whatever layout that can be thrown to racers and finally Dewan MPK Klang with a carpet indoor track that would surely pose a totally different kind of challenge to all racers.
Spread the word around.......be prepared for the challenge that awaits you in MNC 2014.
Regards.

MNC taknak bawa masuk FF class ke?

#6

FF class have dropped in popularity drastically... This class will most likely be dropped from AllStar next year

#8

We will continue with FF if there are enough drivers. However lets take this on a separate discussion as this is MNC thread. Sorry ye tertukar topik... Hehee

salam all,,, i've tested 13.5t non-boosted with FDR 4.96.... compared to 17.5t, the speed and handling is actually not quite suitable for beginer... just sharing here as my opinion....thanks...

O timing 13.5t laju bebenor lar...untuk beginner memey susah bawa..rasanya lagi sesuai 17.5t senang bawa..tq
