Putrajaya RC Event 2013 Fun Race
Hi kawan-kawan,
Perbadanan Putrajaya will be building a RC center at Presint 6, Putrajaya. They will be building a flying site for RC aircrafts, a track for off-road and on-road RC models while RC boats can use the nearby Putrajaya Lake for RC boating and racing. The required facilities for each RC site will also be built and we can be sure that they will be building everything according to international standard.
To officiate the area as the future Putrajaya RC center, Perbadanan Putrajaya has asked Persatuan Model Kawalan Jauh Putrajaya (PMKJP) to organize a fun-fly for aircrafts and a fun race for 1/8 nitro buggy on the 17th of February 2013. The event for the day is called Putrajaya RC Event 2013. I know that this date is just a week away from the date for MNL 1 2013 but we can’t change it because on the 17th of February 2013, Putrajaya will also be hosting the water sports competition. The president of Perbadanan Putrajaya wants all these activities to be on the same day.
For your information, as the secretary of PMKJP and the person chosen to organize the fun race, I have also planned to organize 4 more races for 2013 as required by Perbadanan Putrajaya. Altogether Perbadanan Putrajaya wants to organize 5 races every year. Mr Alvin of RCC in principle has agreed to have MNL 2 2013 in Putrajaya. The timing system for this fun race will also be provided courtesy of Mr Alvin.
For the fun race, racers do not have to pay any race fees. Saturday the 16th of February 2013 will be open practice for all racers. The track is at the Kompleks Sukan Air, Presint 6, Putrajaya. Usage of the track and its facilities are free. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided free of charge for all racers on Saturday and Sunday. A Putrajaya RC Event 2013 T-shirt will also be given free for all racers. Besides that a tag for all racers will be given so that your cars will be permitted to enter the Presint 6 Water Sports Complex parking lot that is just beside the off-road track. And best of all, all racers will receive a commemorative plague for the event sponsored by Perbadanan Putrajaya. We will also be having lucky draws for the fun race and I assure you that the lucky draw goodies are really very attractive and expensive. (cannot tell now but think of OS, TM, Sidewinder, etc.)
