Hi, HPC II

Can you please elaborate on the format of the Grand Final race. i.e whether it is normal qualifying or christmas tree. I think everyone are anxious to know the race format that will be used for the Grand Finals. Thank you.

Hi there,

My sincere apologies for this...I have overlooked your request earlier as there is just so much to prepare and do to make this event a successful one.

Anyway, please have a look at the attachment. Hope it will answer your needs. Believe me...it going to be exciting!!!

Schedule and durations may change depending of total number of drivers.

Cheers,

Dear All,

There have been a few enquiries regarding the format.

As u can see on the attachment,we HPC did not make any of the rules or format. All details comes from Japan. So all of us,including all the participating countries have to follow.

Entries:

Drivers,i know its typical Malaysian style to be last minute, but we
sincerely request that u guys start registering as we need final confirmation by May 1st.

Reason:

1) ALL GROUPINGS will be done by JAPAN,not us.So they need the info from all countries. This ensure fair play as they cant be bias as they do not know any of the local drivers. They will seed the drivers by the qualifying results from March.

2)To ensure sufficient notice for drivers on standby list to arrange their trip especially from east Malaysia.

3)Reservations for the banquet dinner.

4)Tables,Chairs,Canopy,... for the event.

5)T shirts,pass and door gifts.

So guys,as u can see, plenty for us organiser to worry about.

Pls give us a hand and confirm your entries or we will be forced to call up the reserves.

Cheers!

7 more countries to submit excluding Brunei which are on standby.

That makes total 8+ us(host) = 9 countries.

I believe HPC II has received entries from Thailand as well.

To be posted soon.

Kenji Osaka will be present, however will not be racing.he will be main event organiser and CHIEF SCRUTINEER!!

Dont say we never warn u to ensure legality....he,he,....

Again carb restrictor max 5.4 and max engine port 5+1.

Cheers!

Hi HPC, Thursday is controlled practice. What is this?

Is the track layout going to be announced a week before?

Thanks in advance

If I'm not mistaken, this is a practise when you actually go out in pre-determined groups. Not free for all type of practise. Just to get a feel of what the actual heats would be. I think during controlled practise, timing can be taken but that's for information only.
