I think you should have it at Glenmarie, jump square arena if in KL. Titiwangsa off road track is just not up to standard. Please reconsider.

This event is done in the interest and muhibbah of all parties. The idea is to get everybody involved and recognised by all.As this is a national event,it is only fair for all to have a chance.

Titiwangsa track is our very first and oldest track. We should acknowledge RCAC club support in this event.

True,Titiwangsa may not be as challenging as the other tracks, yet it still has its own characteristic of its technicality and tight corners, and not its jumps.

If its easy for u,its easy for everyboy.Simple.So the track may be easier than the others, however winning it is still as tough.

As far as track facilities,it has excellent pit area, with toilet and restaurant nearby. It's sufficient for basic needs.

Please do not turn away from this track, this event, take it as another type of challenge.

Subject to Kelvin's negotiation, races will be held in Glenmarie and Sg.Buloh at the later rounds.we are looking at 1 round in Johor and maybe the last round in East Malaysia. That in total will make 5 rounds and a real national event.

The Champion of this series will be the true champion to be able to conquer all tracks.

However,I stress again, venues are still under negotiation and are subjected to confirmation later.

Cheers!!

jets,

We will have each round in different track, more over its too soon to have it back in Glenmarie as the last 2 races was held there. Whatever track to be used we will all run it. Different venue for every round will be fair to ever body. Not only are we finding a good driver, we are finding good drivers with good set up skills to tackle many types of track conditions and terrain.

Titiwangsa have held many International races in the past and even the great Mr Kanai have raced there and never complained. I must admit its not the most awesome track in the country, but its off road dude.

Hope everybody appreciates our intentions.

No offence.

But RCAC had been a great contributor to our hobby.

The late Mr. Hon and Haji are both good people. Let's put away the political side of it and compete in all the track in M'sia so everyone would have a fair chance and it's fair and square.

Thks.

As suggested by Danny,to make the event consistent, all qualifying be based on 3 ten minutes heat, followed by finals, regardless of number of participants.

windtalker - yes,any track owners or club who wish to host the event is welcomed to do so.As mentioned,we do plan to have 1 round in Johor.

Feb 03

Following numerous responses that we received requesting clarifications for the term used in our previous information re: “foreign drivers”, we'd like to explain that this event is open to all IFMAR Blocs i.e. drivers from FEMCA, EFRA, ROAR and FAMAR can compete at the event but, the first FEMCA driver to finish will be the FEMCA Champion.

Moreover, NO driver from any of the 14 FEMCA member countries is allowed to compete at the 2005 FEMCA 1/8th Off-road Championship unless he is a current 2005 financial member of his country's Association, either through membership of a club which is a financial member of the Association or as a direct financial member of the Association, whichever membership method is used by that particular country's Association . It goes without saying that NO driver from any Far East country, which is not a current financial member of FEMCA, is allowed to compete at this event.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we'd like to thank everyone for the huge supports and enthusiasm received from Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. In order to ensure that as many drivers as possible from other FEMCA member countries can compete at the event, we have further reduced the allocation for local drivers to only 50 seats.

However, we will shorten the registration period from Feb 5th to April 30th (i.e. not June 12th). After this date, April 30, a late entry fee of USD20.00 will apply up to May 14 when all unused entries will be allocated to the extra Indonesian drivers. Obviously, the Indonesian drivers on the waiting list will not have to pay the late entry fee - only the normal entry fee.

RCMRC

Club Chairman: Mr Aaron from KL

They are the official representative from FEMCA/IFMAR

I guess in future there will be more races under FEMCA/IFMAR

All participating racers will have to be a member of the club or else not allow to compete the FEMCA/IFMAR event.

Cheers
