JOHOR TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1

JOHOR TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1 (JTCC)
Venue: RCC UTM
Direction: Anti clockwise like usual

Dates:
18th Feb 2012 (Sat, 1000 hrs onwards): Free Practice
19th Feb 2012 (Sun, 0930 - 1800 hrs): Raceday

Race Class:
1) 1/10 EP Class
2) Mini 2WD Sports
3) 1/10 GP Class

Entry Fees: RM80.00 each class, RM50 for mini class
Trophies for all in the A main, top 3 in the lower mains.
2 points interval will be awarded based on final standing while TQ driver would receive an extra 2 points.

There are 5 rounds to compete while championship points would be awarded to those who attend at least 3 rounds + the final round. Overall champion will be crown at the final round. More details to be finalized soon! So hope to see ya guys @ Round 1!

RACE RULES & REGULATIONS

A) 1/10 EP Class
- All chassis must be 4WD sedans
- All cars must have 4-wheel braking and four-wheel drive at all times.
- Open Brand Rubber Tires
- Drivers have the option of running 6-cell NiMH or any 7.4V hard case LIPO
- B/Shell: 190mm 4-Door sedans follow IFMAR rule
- Open Motor - 10.5t only Brushless
- Weight: 1400 gm (exclude PT / Transponder)

B) Mini-Sports
- Open to all 2WD M-Chassis
- Motor Open (maximum: 10.5t)
- Open ESC
- NiMh Sub-C 6cells or Lipo 7.4v
- Open Tires for Mini Chassis only
- Open Brand Body Shell (For Mini Chassis & High Roof only)
- Traction Compound & Tire Warmer allowed
- Weight: 1280 gm (exclude PT / Transponder)

C) 1/10 GP Class
- 1/10 200mm
- Bodyshell - Limit to 200mm bodyshells
- Fuel 16% nitro
- Engine: TBC
- Open sponge tires
- Min Weight: TBC

QUALIFYING RACE FORMAT (Points system)
A) EP: 3 Qualifying Heats x 5mins or (2 out of 3 calculated)
B) GP: 3 Qualifying Heats x 7mins or (2 out of 3 calculated)

FINALS RACE FORMAT

A) A Main x 5mins x 3 (2 out of 3 calculated)
B) B Main onwards x 5mins x 2 (combined)

GP
C - 20mins
B - 30mins
A - 40mins

Guys,

I'm changing it to a series of race, JOHOR TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP (JTCC). I'm not doing it for profit but hope to elevate our level of competitiveness here in Johor. Yes we do not have proper track but UTM has been serving it's purpose for the past few years and we hope to bring the series to other tracks as well.

So guys, if you're serious about racing, this is the race for you!
