First of all congratulation for organising this race. I will take part lor. Some more big track ... hehehehe

Just want to ask, can use the word MALAYSIA ka? No need to get authorisation ka ? Why the RC Council not involved ?

Question not to hentam but many racer want to know whether RC Council has been consulted on this. You see there is a thread on the National Championship in here, and there are many member who posted in there. If the word MALAYSIA senang-senang boleh guna then everybody when organise race can put the word MALAYSIA la, and then finally the word MALAYSIA will loose pride. So I guess all you LHS has consulted the RC Council because the RC Council is supposed to use the word MALAYSIA. Pls give feedback.

Tornadobuster, you have asked some valid questions but I think no one will provide any answers.

LHS can orgynise any events as they like and local RC council (not formed yet, still awaiting ROS) do not have any jurisdiction even if they are properly registered with ROS and gain official recognition from IFMAR or etc. In other words, local RC council will need cooperation from everyone to be successful (LHS especially) and at this particular moment, there is still plenty of work to be done.

Always remember, "oil don't mix with water" (get the hint?)

I agree with you Bundy. For MNC RC Council & Hobby shop must work hand in hand. The RC Council was established based on support from racers and LHS rep.

Why not use this race to recognise the RC Council. At least have courtesy to inform them first eventhough te RC Council is in the registration stage. I hope the LHS has done this especially the word MALAYSIA is used. Its like the RC Council is not doing any work, and we LHS is doing it instead.

I'm one of the person who came to vote in the 1st MRCC (now MARCC). I give full support to the council and I want to see them be recognised as the future custodian of Malaysia RC.

I under water can be mixed with oil, but when the are mixed it can spiced up something.

I guess (*glazing at my two crystal ballz* hahaha) this will be a difficult marriage...due to the "potential" conflict of interest between the council and LHS. No fault of LHS, as the reason of their existence is mainly to make $$$.

For instance, if local RC council decides to implement some measures that are beneficial to racers/hobbyists but detrimental to LHS, will LHS continue to provide support to the council?

Local RC council will have to put on their thinking cap and see how to promote their plans and objectives, it will never be easy. However, forming a local council is definitely a good step forward to regulate the local RC scene.

In the first place, there is no big issue with this race. What MARCC is working on is for the year 2005.

It's good to see that all LHS within Klang Valley are sitting under one roof and this is good for the RC industry in Malaysia.

FYI, Suah has contacted me regarding the race and has invited MARCC to be part of the organiser. Since it is MARCC policy not to organise races, we decline the invitation. However, we have given our consent for the race. In fact MARCC will view and monitor this race as a testing ground for a grand MNC race.

Hope to see everybody racing and let us race on the new track in Klang. What's more important is the RC solidarity and fellowship. Whatever issues we have, let's put them aside. Let's for once, lets bygone be bygone.

All the best for RC Industry.
