and you can get help from someone at the same track to help you set up the car for you.

Which track do you go to?

Someone did mention to buy the kit most used in your track...
True

Because when more ppl use it...
Easy to find best setup...
Parts support sure ada...

If all brands also got...
then follow your kaki's punyer selection...
at least u all can share setting...

And all PRO kits are quite equal in terms of performance....

Bro...all ep touring cars got pros and con...sometime good at handling but bad on durability.sometime good at flexibility but bad on pocket money....

thats why i bought both the tamiya 416 and x ray t209...

Hi,

Yokomo BD5W, Xray T3, Tamiya 416X, Sakura Zero, Schumacher Mi, Kyosho T5R.....these are all good Touring Car prokits available in Malaysia. They are used by A-Main drivers in the recent Penang Race and Malaysian National Championship.

At the end of the day....it boils down to your available RMs, parts support and most importantly...techical support from sifus out there.

You might wanna check out who races what car at your local track.....see whether you can get along with anyone of them and if he is a willing sifu....and get the car he drives.

I guess the question is are you preparing to race officially or just play play.. if you are serious about racign then TAMIYA is a good brand to go for.. they have asia cup every year....

Well.....I agree. Sifus are very competitive (since they are mostly A-Main drivers) and may not wanna share their setups with everyone. Especially if u are the kind of person that has many sifus! Their setups may go to the wrong hands (i.e. the competitors).

You need to learn to setup your car from your sifu....not just copy sifu setup coz sifu's setup may not be the one that suits your driving.

Kalau sifus sombong, you may want to consider the car they drive a miss. Go for a car where the sifu is friendly and do not mind teaching and sharing technical knowledge.

I have a great sifu myself......! Without him, I would not be at the level I am now. I use to drive the same car as my sifu.....but after 2 years, I am now technically above average, and now driving a different car.
