Sigh...
I've traded with Fitri before but it did not turn out this way. I'm not trying to defend anyone here; just wanted to share what I've heard from him about this deal weeks ago.
Here goes:
He has agreed to trade his R40 for your XXX-S plus a spare chassis and you have sent it to him first. When Fitri receives the XXX-S he found out that the car and spare chassis has broke with cracks all over. Later he e-mailed you to express his intention to call off the deal since the XXX-S is not in good condition and he will send it back to you.
Fitri did told me that he didn't respond to some of your e-mails as he was very busy and was posted out of town with no Internet facilities. The last I heard from his was about 1 week ago when he told me that his R40 was involved in a bad crash.
He was broke and couldn't afford to repair the car at the moment. During that time he also told me that he has already posted your XXX-S and spares through slow mail as that's the best he can do for now.
I feel sorry for the both of you that things have to turn out this way. I'm not taking sides and have no right to interfere as this is between you and Fitri. Just wanted to share what I've heard and wish nobody has to go through this again. Evaa, hope you could let us know when you've received your XXX-S.

From my understanding, Fitri never has the intention to play foul or cheat as he told me Evaa is a lawyer by profession. Evaa, please correct me if I'm wrong. All this could be due to the lack of communications or miscommunications. Just my $0.02

i beg to disagree. since fifth3 still has the losi, why dont we ask him to take pics of the chasis. i sent him a car that was in A-1 condition and i was very transparent with everything to the point of even sending him the car first.
also, why hasnt he even said a word bout this in the thread? if he was able to send me an email after i posted my greivances against him in the thread why hasnt he posted anything here? when i asked him what the problem was, he never mentioned anything about any cracks in the chasis and all that. i beleive he has a digicam coz he sent me pics of an r40.
furthermore, he told me that he was sending it via slow mail, then why hasnt he given me any details? i emailed him several times but he has never responded. the only time he responded was when i was already looking for him in the malaysian thread.
steveljw: i'm not saying ur defending him, but hey, why doesnt he contact me? if he wants we can talk in the open thread. i can be that transparent.
how long does slow mail take to get here anyway? its already friday and still no word on the kit. i once traded with speedy100 for a cdc, i sent him money and it took three days for the charger to get here to manila via slow mail.
i beleive i have been very patient in waiting, he does not respond to emails, does not respond to pms and does not respond to anything, what am i supposed to think?

if indeed the car was wrecked a week from the day he emailed me, then that would make it the 6th of April 2004, then, i could safely assume that on the very day i sent my losi, he had already wrecked his car and had no intention of telling me that it was wrecked. so the only conclusion is that i was dealing with a fraud.
again fifth3, if your reading this thread, if ever you care to read it, i dare you to post a pic of the losi, take really close pics so everyone can see that i sent you e very good car that had no damage whatsoever.

fifth3...i hope u can clarify this thing B4 worst thing happen. Just take pictures of the cracked-losi and post it here. I hope all this can be solved. from the mail alone(if its true...) you should have not race(play) with the R40 if you'r planning to exchange it with someone. I pity you and i understand that u'r broke...then what in-the-H&@* did u make a promise to send the R40. You're not planning to cheat,him eh?

1.Not supposed to drive a car where he has already agreed to trade for.
All the terms are voided since the car would not be in the condition as agreed.
Simple as that.evaa sends his end 1st and that is already out of requirement.
If someone agrees to send 1st,I highly doubt that he'd send crap.
2.Yeah,you better produce some good evidence that you received stuff in bad condition,otherwise it's your word against his.Nobody will have more weight in the argument.
3.Why send via regular mail?No tracking?that would mean no evidence of posting.why smear crap over you name just to save some cash?
