World Championships
Pre-Worlds Results
The IFMAR 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring Car World Championship will be held from October 7-17, 2004 in the City of Jundiai, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The pre-worlds was held on the same track February 26-29 with some of the worlds top drivers present.
Here is the top ten from the event:
1. Francesco Tironi, Kyosho FW-05R
2. Gabriel Brito, Mugen MTX-3
3. Chung Min Hsu, Mugen MTX-3
4. Takuya Ito, Kyosho FW-05R
5. Masami Hirosaka, Yokomo Prototype
6. Paolo Morganti, Serpent 710
7. Fernando Gasparetto, Schumacher
8. Rene Cornella, Serpent 710
9. Darin Ishitani, Associated NTC3
10. Barry Baker, Associated NTC3

Here's one of the racer's report (from Team Serpent) who attended the race.

It seems from the track layout, most used the front and rear diffs.
It was really funny that out of 6 heats, he only drove only one of the 6 heats and he managed to get into the A main.
He's not the top dog Serpent driver though. Just works mainly in the R&D department.
