I PM'd 'rcpinky' a couple of weeks ago to try and get some more info, as he seems to actually have one of the chassis', but have not yet had a reply. I've also searched the web for 'Option No.1 M-03 FF chassis', but have found nothing so far...

Impressive!! 
They were indeed look like the same car. Just notice its front shocks were actually place near horizontal, above everything!! Tight spacing, I guess...

It looks like the chassis shown on the main 'mini cooper' thread on page 642, post #9628, then again on page 645, post #9661.
