This will be another great chance for us to Warm up for the upcoming Femca event. However I must agree with Direct that the track marshalls are bad. I felt like #@%*#@ them when I see them work. But by saying that, its still a lot easier on the drivers because we do not have to marshall. 1 suggestion that Hara gave was to have more marshalls. He mentioned to us while having dinner that this track requires around 15 marshalls at 1 time. I totally agree with him and I also know its hard to get good help around the track. So please don't take this as an offense but a suggestion guys. I know its a tough job to organize a race.

Jet, u r malaysian and u shud know how hard to get marshall nowadays. there is no way Rcc could keep and train marshalls like they do in Thailand. We pay rm70 per marshall and if you guys requires 15 marshalls at a time that means we need to hv 30 of them ( 30x rm70 = 2100 x 2days = rm 4200 )

So tell me how much u personally willing to pay for a race? shud all drivers agreed to pay for it than i'm more than happy to get 30 marshalls as i'm also racing

Maybe very soon as Malaysian living standard goes higher we no longer could afford marshalls just like in all develope country. do enjoy it while u can my friend.

For your information Mr Hara-san told me he don't mind to marshall as he is used to it, do you.

As for FEMCA event we are getting professional marshalls from Thailand with the help fm Khun Charlee.

Rgds

Hi Alvin,

As a racer myself and also to those local racers out there, I guess is best not to complaint too much about marshall. Why not we as racers help out rather than to complaint about lack of marshall. Show that we care for this hobby and everyone can enjoy. Show the world what we malaysian can do for this hobby. Love this hobby? Then do whatever got to do with this hobby. I'll be the next one to help so that you guys who are in the final can have a good final than to complaint about marshall, unless I'm lucky enough to be in the final but that's not gonna happen, who knows? cheers

Hi Mr.Mike,

I agree with u
If lack of marshall, as a driver i totally agree to help up rather than just put some marshall without train and nobody monitor it ...

Hi Mike,

We truly appreciate your help, but i will do my best not to involve drivers to marshall as it is kinda dangerous job, remember in our last Mnl Sunny Wong got hurt while marshalling.

We are trying to get the same group of marshalls from the agent, so at lease they have gain some experience from the last race and hope they will do a better job. I hope all drivers could give them some time to learn from each event.

Mr Hara himself have also bring up the ideal that to get the local marshalls to come and see how the Thai's professional marshalls work during Femca. Like i said earlier i hope to get the same group of ppl each time hopefully some day
they can be as good.

In thailand there are offroad racing every month (more than 5 tracks in bangkok alone) and they all use the same group of marshalls for years now that's y they have develope a group of Professional marshalls that impressed the world.

I personally do wish that beside RCC someone will also venture into building more tracks so we could joint force to develope not just marshalls but to develope better drivers with different layout and jumps.

Lastly I thanks those who have given me great support since Rcc establishment in June last year, without you guys RCC won't be what it is today hosting the Hara-cup and Femca.

Best regards,
Alvin

I don't mind doing marshalling my friend. You should know me by now. If you impose it, everyone should marshall. Simple as that. I have nothing against you all so dont be angry. Mike T has wrote something that very few Malaysians would do. Lets see what happens in this race.Anyway, lets race.

Jets,

You marshall?! Thats the place I MUST NEVER flip then!!!

Mike T,

Sure or not?

Alvin,

RM70 per marshall
Lets keep whatever marshalls you have and get the drivers/pitman to marshall. This is too much $ / unnecessary $ spent. But you may want to consider public liability insurance...just in case.

Anyways, great track! great events! Keep it up!

Cheers

Hello RC friends,

No offence friends, just a suggestion. To go out to marshall, for me is something part of the hobby. If I were to set an example, I wonder if anyone will follow. Also, like Alvin said, I don't know if he allow racers to marshall. If yes, I don't mind. But, will you guys do it, cheers

Jet,
don't mistaken me leh, i hv nothing to be angry for my fren, suggestion n comments are always welcome that's where we can improve, as u know we are still new in this, my 1st was your GScup lol..

It is my reponsibility to clarify our situation n position as we are learning from each event.

Chee Yong,
Your suggestion brings me an idea, we might as well use Drivers to marshall along with the hire existing marshalls that way they could learn from Drivers how the job is been done. . . .

Jets lets show Chee Yong u r faster than him kekekek

Lastly we appreciate all the kind suggestions and here we go to show Malaysian boleh!!

I dont mind paying a bit more for marshall service. At least I have more time to prepare my car before the heats and final.

Dear AR,

I do understand your point as i also believed most Malaysian driver don't have personal mechanic and many of the drivers also help eash other in Pitting work.

As u can see is not the money issue but is the in experience marshalls we have that i totally agreed with, therefore , we would like to take this opportunity to educate the local marshall and to show them how marshalling work is being carry out by doing it together.

I hope you could extend your patience with us and give us your support as u hv always been.

I will schedule the event so that each group will have time to work on the car.

Cheers
