Aiyoaiya......my method is very close to Drake's(the one i sent you).....please read this article that Razor showing us......1st tank with a very rich setting ....and opening the main needle to 1 or 2 turns counterclockwise(richen) ....and closing(5mins or less of a turn) the main needle after every tank........every tank tend to go up slowly in temperature.....cool article Razor!!!.......................... ..somehow i have been doing this to most engines i owned, the last and still running is my Axe Mamba converted X1!! Hehe.....Merry Christmas Guys!!!

I would say mine is a bit different in technique, quite similar in theory......heat cycle method.......as i always believe in gradually UP on temperature, but starting at a very Rich & cold Temperature.....gradually Up....is always best.....that is my opinion ..............

wicked guys, thanks for the info... but from wat i understand the so called 'new school method' is in the trend now as doing 3 mins x 5 times then 5 mins x 3 times thingy... but i guess the most important is always keep it at BTC...

Now this is the one i love. Josh cyrul style. Nowadays most engine built with ABC material. much stronger and much resilient.

Check my article on this - done with my buggy on an engine that known to break in few gallons only - BUT mine still intact until now. The compression still there - in fact still snug tight. This is done on 2006.

check the video at Engine Break In / Run-in Wide Open Throttle (WOT)

you can also read why Josh Cyrul did it here

whatever it is, if you're not confident enough.. just do it slowly. Remember, its your engine paid with your own money. Like vios said, treat it as your most loving girl or wife.. hehehehe.. betul juga tu vios

i guess doesn't matter wat method it is, just be patient and be rewarded... the best, use up 1 gallon of nitro for break-in, and time to go LHS for nitro...
