Small size, speed, long run time, less parts!!!

HPC is stocking Kawada 1/12 pan recently.

Trinity latest Reflex 12 looks awesome!

How many 1/12 out there in Malaysia?

Go to Subang Speedway of weekends and look for Henry!!! He will be gald to know you are into 1/12. He is one heck of a driver, a cool dude and very helpful.

Zainudin Racing 09-04-2003 08:32 AM

good news, dont count me out . I be waiting to race this class soon

NiceGuy 09-04-2003 09:34 AM

anywhere in johor selling 1/12 cars??? and wat brand?

Zainudin Racing 09-04-2003 11:48 AM

Singapore has lack of flat tarmac to run 1/12. Plenty of RC12, Kawada, CRC bloodyknife and corally around

TrackMagnet 09-07-2003 06:47 AM

I have a Team Associated RC12L3. Running a mod motor with 4 cells. I play at Subang - time permitting. :(

It's a fun class but unfortunately not so many other drivers to race with.

Long run times, low maintenance and great speed are some of the plus points.

This month got 1/12 race open class, you can use 6 cell mod if you want , further details can contact track magnet, the new barracuda red owner

Yeah! totally agree on who you need to chat up if you wanna know more about 1/12 on road.......Henry Khoo. Tall, slim, short hair, and wears glasses. Hunt him down!!:D :D :sneaky: :sneaky:

He's a nice fella, very friendly. Knowledgeble in that class. He's been wanting to get this class started here but we really lack the proper tracks.

My personal opinion.....
This is the oldest on road class presently being run under IFMAR. You gotta watch these things go....they are extremely fast and agile. A lot of knowledge and work to get it dialled for high level competition. I believe if you could learn to drive this 2 wheel drive wonders, you would improve your overall driving skills. I think it might be cheaper than EP touring class....2 wheel drive, 4 cells, and a not too hot a mod motor and you could keep up with a mod tourer. Don't know about tyre wear though!

I too would love to build and race one.

JohnnyRotten 09-08-2003 09:18 AM

yeah it is a good starting class that pro like Andy recommends.

low tyre wear, low comm wear , low battery wear

1/3 of the cost , but twice the fun

Track Magnet, wonder where you got your info??

From what I've heard, Andy Dass doesn't own a 1/12 EP on road car. He drives a GS Vision and a Barracuda R2.

Cheers!:)

JohnnyRotten 09-08-2003 10:09 AM

I guess he has the insider information.

From what I heard Andy Dass drives a 1/12 but not frequently but he plays with his little toy car mini z when he's bored

cheers:nod:

find dexter for consultation. A very nice guy. He 's a pro 1/12 driver. He uses M8.

TrackMagnet 09-09-2003 07:58 AM

No problem Pandoras Box.

Would be great to have a 1/12 race but I can't see one happening in the near future unless there are a lot of racers out there.

Ok, so how many 1/12 racers are there?

An exhibition race could be a start:cool:
