There is no harm in trying. Assuming if you can get a similar loose cell from another Rx pack, you can temporily make some connection and make the Rx pack into 6 cell (7.2 V).

After finish charging, then disconnect the 6th cell. Continue using your 5 cell Rx pack. Once the pack dumps and you need to recharge, make sure your 6th cell is also discharged.

There is a new charger on the market from Futaba. It come with 2 batt TX & RX port, and also another special port for heater.
Anyone seen it?

Default i am selling this charger

A good idea on adding the extra batt stuff.

But i guess i better sell this charger, n get something else. This charger is not really for nitro user, more for budget electric racer.

I don't know if this is within your budget but the KO-BX213 is a good charger for nitro. It chargers your glow charger which is 1 sub-C cell. It will charge NiMH and NiCD cells. Tx and Rx. You can control how many amps you put in.

i need 5 cells and 8 cells charging, your charger can only charge up to 7 cells, so not really helping me here.
i am selling my LRP NiMH charger Rm150 free shipping (malaysia), only a few weeks old, manual, box, LRP stickers all incl.

guess just get one of those Rm40 overnight charger, before i find a good bargain on fast charger for my nitro needs

True. Tis is one hell of a great charger. You can manually choose between NiMH or NiCD batts. You can also control the charging amps when ur charging ur batts.

if anyone would like to get a charger, this is one that will be on anyones wish list. HeeHee
