Cannot lar type online which brand(s) of motors blew up. Got to be a bit courteous to the branding interests of local LHS lar... :

Something i don understand 
, as NiMH battery has no memory effect, then
1) what is the reason we need to discharge on NiMH?
2) when is the time to discharge?
3) how frequent should this practice be?

cell 1 discharged with resistance 1.5 ohm.
cell 2 discharged with resistance 1.8 ohm.
then cell 2 is slower to discharged,when cell 1 finish discharged at cut off 0.9v,cell 2 still got some power on it.
So,it best to discharge individual cell down to 0.9v cut off before charging,all cell will received equal charge and it will put out equal power.
We do this discharging just after use on that battery.
