anyhow, can't advise you much since i m a newbie too...got my m chassis running less than a month tho...IMO, value for money, it is advisable for you to get the M03-M, medium wheelbase chassis...it throws in the wheel bearings and rear toe in, if i m not mistaken. I got mine by accident really, it was beautifully placed on the shelf, prepainted...and i immediately fell in love with it...and i got mine from Micky Trading in Melaka while waiting for the return of my maid from Indonesia at the nearby jetty.
I would suggest you pay a visit to Tamiya Underground in One Utama, could talk to the tai kos or the affable Dukun Azhar for the advice...parts are readily available n price is reasonable.
Should you want to do some research, i highly recommend this website. It tells you so much about the M-chassis.

Welcome to the club and we proud owners of M chassis extend our warmest welcome to you!
Catch some action of the m chassis every wednesday, friday nites at one utama. you could talk to those fellas n ask for their opinion.
good luck and we look forward to receiving your new chassis on the track! The more the merrier, the Champion of Malaya shall be waiting for you at TTwangsa.
