Okay, since you asked so nicely...

Here's a centre transmission I scratch-built out of some cheap pinions, and spurs...

It's for a custom 1/10 rock crawler, still not finished.

I tried to "improve" upon a Tamiya Grasshopper at one point. It turned out quite ugly but I'll call it phase 1...

RC DIY.......good and can save $$$ but try to attempt only on the mechanical side of it.......and not electrical because.........it will get you kill or seriously injure as the warning said.

Strictly for electrical engineer.....................

What harm can 7.2v DC bring? In fact by using a hobby knife to work on our models is at least 10 time more dangerous.

Attempt to do anything simple.........wouldn't kill you.......that's for sure

What I am saying anything more complex might as well buy it off the shelf as g electrical would be too dangerous to attempt for those who even doesn't have the knowledge to do it.

By all means if those who can........

Kelfo,

Thank you for the compliments... unfortunately, I do not have the access to those machinery. I do it in a more conventional way... with cordless drill, super sharp drill bits, good metal saw, sharp files and few types of sand paper. Vice is also a must.

However, please take care of those alluminum dust... it's health hazard.
