HPI R2 23T TL is not bad at all........ if you can't get Team Atlas, try HPI's 23T brushes for the R2s and the Katanas.

Team Luna's Legend.......ummmmm no experience with it yet.

FLR's ratio is within 7ish....

how about reedy 766 or 767 brushed is`t good for stock motor? I tried put hpi R2 brushed on my yok FLR, isnt really good and the life of brush is short (15 run only).

Thanks Koe....yeah. FLR is a fast motor and try not to gear it below 6.8 and you'll be alright.

I'm afraid you won't get much out of it. 10 -12 runs at the most. We only use them for racing. For practice and bashing we'll use HPI's, Yok and Xenon.

Good thread. Perhaps we could also add in the type of motor we used and the gearing at the respective tracks. Basically the intention is to give some sort of reference point for bashers alike:-

to start the ball rolling;

Track : Titiwangsa
Motor : Xenon Red (rpm)
Spring : Standard
Gearing : approx 5.30
Kit : TA-05; TPM8 Esc; IB3800 Stick Pack

Comments: ESC n motor were very hot, nonetheless, the speed was there!

Regards.

Thats too much I guess. U should try not go lower than 5.50

Buts thats just my opinion.

Just my 2 cents!!!
