Malaysian National Championship (MNC) EP 2019
A FEMCA & IFMAR -santioned series via RC Malaysia



MNC+BittyDesign 2019

With the collaboration of RCPITSTOP @ BITTY DESIGN and MNC 2019, for this season we would like to introduce to Malaysia Racers there will be 6 categories to be carried out and 2 of it are fresh categories. To encourage new racers participation and inspire hardcore RC racers, little change in rules and regulations will be made to meet the needs of Racers and we emphasize the balance of costs, skills and technology of RC Product. Bitty will be our official Premier Sponsor for this season and there will be benefit for all RC community Organized by MNC2018 committee.

RACE CATEGORIES:
1. Touring Car - Modified
2. Touring Car - SuperStock (13.5t boosted)
3. GT Touring Car - Stock (17.5T non-boosted)
4. Mchasis - Stock (17.5t non-boosted)
5. Tamiya Truck- Stock (17.5t non-boosted)
6. Formula 1- Stock (21.5t /17.5t non-boosted)


RACE FORMAT:
- 3 Heats
- 3 Finals for A-Mains, 2 Finals for B Main and 1 Final for all other Mains

Grid position for Finals will be based on best 1 out of 3 Heats.
Race result will be based on IFMAR rules.

MNC CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS:
Top 20 drivers (A Main dan B Main) qualify for championship points in the following order (22,20,18,17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2, 1).
Overall champion will be base on 3 of 4 round for Super Stock, Stock, Truck and M chassis
TQ will earn an additional 1 bonus point.















RULES AND REGULATIONS:



MODIFIED Touring Car

Motor : 10.5 turn and Below (open to all brands - must be ROAR/IFMAR/EFRA/JMRCA/BCRA approved)

Motor timing : no restriction

Esc : Open (timing and turbo functions ALLOWED)

Tires/Rims/Inserts : Controlled Tires (RUSH 40X). 2 sets only (Heats and Finals)

Bodyshell : IFMAR rules apply

Min Weight : 1350gm (with transponder)

Batteries : HV Lipos are allowed but voltage is restricted to 8.44 volt only and will be checked by officials prior to Heats/Finals. Please ensure lipos are marked prior to each Heats/Finals.

Drivers : Professional Racer, Subsidize Racer and Regular racer



SUPERSTOCK Touring Car

Motor : 13.5 turn (open to all brands - must be ROAR/IFMAR/EFRA/JMRCA/BCRA approved)

Motor timing : no restriction but max 3400kv and 2.5amp draw

Esc : Open (timing and turbo functions ALLOWED)

Tires/Rims/Inserts : Controlled Tires (RUSH 40X). 2 sets only (Heats and Finals)

Bodyshell : IFMAR rules apply

Min Weight : 1350gm (with transponder)

Batteries : HV Lipos are allowed but voltage is restricted to 8.44 volt only and will be checked by officials prior to Heats/Finals. Please ensure lipos are marked prior to each Heats/Finals.

Drivers : Regular racer









BITTY GT Stock Touring Car


Motor : 17.5 turn (open to all brands - must be ROAR/IFMAR/EFRA/JMRCA/BCRA approved) Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is not allowed (Ceramic bearing and rotor modification is NOT ALLOWED).

Motor timing : TBA

ESC : PURE BLINKY ESC (open to all brands - must be ROAR/IFMAR/EFRA/JMRCA/BCRA approved)( Team Power XPS Sport 2.0 is allowed but blinky mode)
Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the E.S.C is not allowed (Inclusive of adding additional capacitors and other E.S.C influencing device.) Only battery plugs can be changed.

Tires/Rims/Inserts : Controlled Tires (RUSH 40X). 2 sets only (Heats and Finals)

Bodyshell : controlled BITTY Design Bodyshell, Venom 1/10 GT 190mm

Min Weight: 1350gm (with transponder)

M-CHASSIS Stock 17.5T

Motor : 17.5 turn (open to all brands - must be ROAR/IFMAR/EFRA/JMRCA/BCRA approved) Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is not allowed (Ceramic bearing and rotor modification is NOT ALLOWED).

Motor timing : TBA

ESC : PURE BLINKY ESC (open to all brands - must be ROAR/IFMAR/EFRA/JMRCA/BCRA approved)( Team Power XPS Sport 2.0 is allowed but blinky mode)

Tires/Rims/Inserts : Controlled Tires (DS Racing (36R,34R)). 1 set only (Heats and Finals)

Bodyshell : Only realistic ABC, Tamiya, HPI, Blitz, SPICE mini bodyshell are allowed.
High Roof (Wing that comes with the bodyshell is allowed)

Min Weight: 1280gm (with transponder)

Drive Train & Transmission: 6.4 (Max) Final Drive Ratio.(M05/M03/M07 Pinion 18, Gambado: 20T/30T pinion 28).

No speed gear modification allowed.
Front Lock Diff Situation is NOT ALLOWED.
Gear differential is allowed.



Chassis: M03, M04, M05, M06, M07 and Gambado only are allowed.
Conversion to Evo or other carbon chassis is not allowed.
Cars have to retain original wheel drive concept, no 4WD of twin motor configuration will be allowed.

TAMIYA Racing Truck

Chassis: TAMIYA TT01 Truck Racing chasis (all factory standard from box)
- option part is allowed

Diff & Bevel gear
-Standard Bevel gear only allowed
-Diff lock is not allowed
-Diff oil, putty is allowed, but diff must not lock
-Organizer will do diff checking

BodyShell: Open Brand, Tamiya Truck Racing Bodyshell ( MAN TGS & BUGGYRA FAT FOX) & BittyDesign IRON 1/10 TRUCK
-Standard pieces body set must be applied. If any chance the truck head peel off, the truck must
go to the pit stop to attach back the bodyshell.
-Additional hole for reduce weight or aerodynamic is not allowed

FDR: >= 8.35 (standard gears from box, fast gears not allowed)

Formula 1 Class

Motor:17.5/21.5 turn (Open Brand but must be approved by Roar)

Motor timing : no restriction

Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is not allowed (Ceramic bearing and rotor modification is NOT ALLOWED).



ESC: Open brand but must be in blinky mode

Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the E.S.C is not allowed (Inclusive of adding additional capacitors and other E.S.C influencing device.) Only battery plugs can be changed.

Chassis:

- Any F1 chasis

- Option parts that made for that model can be used.



Body shell:

- Open F1 bodyshell (must be F1 look bodyshell)

- Must be painted.

- Optional front or rear wing which meant for body shell is allowed.

(Other Brands/Model On the discretion of Race Organizer)

Wheels & Tires :

- Any brand F1 tyres

- Limited to ONE SET ONLY for the whole race duration.


Motor KV (Super Stock class, Mchasis and Truck) will be checked by organizer officials prior to start of event. Please ensure that the motor is marked or you will be prohibited from racing or be disqualified.

Hi.. MNC Organizer, Great to hear that Betty Design is sponsoring MNC. Bravo..!!

BTW, I saw the rule for Modified / Boosted class body shell "Bodyshell : IFMAR rules apply" does this mean have to be IFMAR approve body?

IFMAR approved bodyshell must have "serial number" on the windscreen. That should be the rule if IFMAR rules apply.

Since the MNC organizer has not reply on this, we assume this is going to follow the IFMAR rules body shell should have Serial number on it.
