we did vote on this already and if I remember I was the only person in the coffee shop that wanted rubber tires so it died right there.
Majority rules but james brought up a great point that if your not in the class you really dont have a say....so i'm out.
But what happens if a person shows and all he/she has is foam? Will we have loaners?

What is deal i go buy a new set of foams and now we want to change? Let me at least open them before you go changing rules. I have no problem with using rubbers but it just doesn't feel the same

Thumbs up rubbers

Let everyone use up their supply of foams till a given date. Do foams last over a month? if not, that would be a good time frame. The MAIN reason for running foams in the beginning was lack of traction on the "old" carpet from the other side of the building. Now we have the latest and greatest Ozite and also dont have to be worried about putting tire marks on the carpet from traction compound. Just to prove you can be fast on rubbers, I would be willing to put up a small amount of $ to the winner if he/she is on rubber tires while foams are legal.

Talking tires$$

Good idea to wait for points to be over, I didnt think of that. But, what i will do is add some $ to whomever wins with rubbers. What do you guys think? Say 5$ to the winner every week or a lump sum of 50$ to the highest points who was on rubber tires atleast 5 times this year (in the main)? Input is needed! whatcha want?

You did give it to me kevin, I also agree that we should keep racing foams until the season is over.

According to rule #31-2a section B: it states that Tom is not allowed to run stock class unless a couple pounds of lead is added to his car and controller. Sorry bud,,, rules are rules hehe. But seriously, how could you race both mod and stock without your son (Erkle)?
