I'm off to an asian island still divided by northern and southern borders for a year and where I go from there is up for grabs. I'm not a total loss though. Herb is here, so of course we'll be in to visit the family from time to time which will probably equate to coming around the track to see my "other family"

Default Hey SORR...

Hi folks...

Jeff Landry from Lafayette here. Could anyone send me any info on the classes you folks are running? Many of us are getting into TC and 1/12th scale here in Lafayette. Our LHS will be opening and outdoor asphalt track soon.

I can probably get a group of us together and make a road trip to Shreveport from time to time.

I currently have a FT12L4 and FTTC4...any setup tips woud be greatly appreciated. Please email me at [email protected].

I also have a CRC Carpet Knife 3.2R for sale, if anyone is interested...I have pictures of the car on request.

Also...do you folks have a hobby shop that has parts support?

Thanks and good racing...BTW...track looks awesome!

Jeff

Nice to hear from out guests. Set up??? ha you give us too much credit. Tom @ HobbiesX-treme has a good set up for 12th but dont get me lying..

We run the following classes:
MinitT or 18th scale
12th scale 19turn
Stock Sedan (No brushless)
Mod Sedan (Run what you brung)

I think our track is very tight. 50x60 I believe so set you cars for torque and hard cornering.

I need someone to bring a digital camera to the track Thursday. It would be nice if they could take pics of some of the cars in action.

Anyone?

I hit a deer last night on my way home from the dirt track. I waited 12 years to buy my first brand new truck and that little snot got me when it was less than a week old. Didn't really hurt it very bad but I was more than a little agrivated I had to wait on the cops forever to write up the report and finish the deer off so I didn't get my stuff ready for tonight I will probably come by and check on you guys tonight though when I get off work. Oh and no I am not hurt well except my pride a little.
