We are now back to Wicked Wednesdays. Starting this Wed. night, racing starts at 7pm. Registration closes at 6. We have been running a kids class, Open Shortcourse, Mixed Buggy, Mixed Truggy and are recently trying to get a 2wd class going.

I see there's no racing the weekend after thanksgiving, will the track be open for practice?

As long as the track is not wet from rain or undergoing layout changes then it is open. It is actually a public track that is run by our club, St. Charles Racers.
The following is a link to our "track work" thread where we post when the track is open or closed.

Okay cool. I'll be home seeing my family, thought about bringing my stuff with me to get a little practice in if the track was open. It's only about 20 minutes from my in-laws.

Weather looks good for Sunday, I'll probably be out there in the afternoon for some practice.

Is there a donation box or anything at the track?

No donation box but thanks for the thought. Watch the laracer.com forum to see if the track will be open. Sunday looks good but if it rains hard enough on saturday it could close the track for a few days. I am sure I can get someone to check it out sunday morning and let ya know.

No worries. I have to go out that way either way. If it looks too wet I definitely won't run on it.

Don't want to mess up the track or my cars. lol

Checked out the track today, way too wet to run on but the layout looks fun and the facilities look great!

Weather looks a lot better for tomorrow. Hoping it's dry enough to run on by the afternoon.

I'm out at the track right now. It looks really dry except for one or two spots that appear to have been swept. Those are just slightly tacky, but there is no standing water.

I'm going to pull out a car and check it out, I'm only here for about 24hrs more so I really want to run on it.

I walked the track though, there's no standing water or anything.

Alvin, I loved it!

The facility is beautiful! Quite a bit nicer than most tracks I've been to honestly! I really liked the track and the layout, very, very fun. Just a touch on the smaller side, but hey that's fine by me, I really had a great time running a couple of tanks on the track.

I can't wait to get a race in there, please post up when you are going to have race events and I'll definitely try and schedule a trip home to see the family and get in a race!!

Also, I put in to have a VP Fuels banner sent to Brandon, if ya'll don't get it let me know and I'll bug the right people to make sure it's sent.
