La. State Championship
 

Action Hobbies and Raceway will host the La. State Championship Race. This race will crown a state champ in each class. They will hold this title as state champ till next year and we do it again. There are many races around the state and many winners of these races but no state champ. Now we will have one. This race will be April 8-10, 2011.
Friday will be open practice. Saturday will be Four rounds of Qualifing and Sunday will be the Mains.
Friday track opens at 9am till
Sat. racing will start at 9am.
Sunday Mains will start at 9am.
Classes will be

Pro nitro buggy and truggy
Open nitro buggy and truggy
Sportsman nitro buggy and truggy
1/8 elec. buggy and truggy

Anyone can run in the pro class but if you have any type of car manufacturer sponsorship, you will run in the pro class.

If there is enough intrest we will add corr classes. I need to know this in the next two weeks so if you want to run a corr class , let me know ASAP.
Each qualifier will be 5 min. Mains will be 45 min for pro 30 for open 20 for sportsman. Electric will be 12min AAA.

Enty fees will be $30 for the first class and $20 for all others. You will get a t-shirt with the first entry. This will be up on rc sign up by the weekend. it wilol be set up to take payments on rc sign up. This race will be limited to the first 150 paid entrys. We can bump that up if need be. I will post on here when it is on rc sign up.

This is going to be a great weekend of racing so spread the word and lets fill this race up. There will be a complete track change for this race. I have put together a layout commitee together to ensure we will have one sick and fun layout. I am looking forward to this race.

.but you can get an idea of the size they are working with and shop in the backround. and im pretty sure the race will have a new layout. The facility is top notch. Onsite shop, nice and clean indoor bathrooms. Nice concession / eating area inside..

I'm tossing around the idea of making the drive from Austin, TX. Just have to talk my wife into it since we will be there 2 weeks later for easter.
