the website for the destrahan track is scracers.com. I'm looking for a place to race in the area myself starting in August, but I can't find very much, and none of the websites have current results or turnouts...

Who/how many are racing what at the outdoor track? I'm debating whether to buy an 8ight and spend the summer setting it up before moving to New Orleans, or wait until I actually get there. And is anyone racing stadium trucks?

The only classes that were run were:

Open CORR
Electric 1/8 buggy
Nitro 1/8 buggy
Electric/Nitro Truggy

It depends on the turnout as to exactly what is the breakout of classes. If there's enough to run only electrics and only nitro, that happens, if not they mix electric and nitro.
Last Wednesday there was a total of 32 entries. I think 8 in CORR, 9 in truggy, and the rest in electric and nitro buggy.

What brands/types of buggy and truggy are people running in Destrehan?
