I'd be interested. There was a great indoor offroad track way back when I was younger, redstick raceway. I'm sure there's a few guys on here that would remember. I have kids of my own now and really hate that there's no place to race competitively like I did.

I grew up at Loupes Rc track back in the day and did some racing at Redstick. But I own a company on the interstate in Holden,LA and have great set up behind my
office even have a lake could do some Boat racing.
I just want to gage the interest before I build anything. So BR show me there some interest and I can make it happen not looking to make a profit just need enough motivation to do it. I love RC would do it for the sport.

Maybe try a couple facebook pages, there's one for SCR Raceway in Destrehan, tri city raceway in Patterson and the Flowood rc pages may bring some attention I bet. Alot of the guys still racing have to travel to those places or at least look at their pages still.

Me and my boys have been looking for something closer in the hammond area to get back into racing. I would be very intrested in a track in Holden. If you do start building, let me know and we can definitely try and help out.

Man I think there could be some great interest in a new track. Being indoor would a HUGE plus with Louisiana weather. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the last couple tracks in the area went under mainly because of the hobby shop losing their butt, not necessarily the cost of the track.

The whole indoor aspect is a huge positive for possibilities of hosting major races and birthday parties and numerous other things could be huge for area and building back the hobby

Make a Facebook group and gauge interest that way. How big is the building? I'd gladly help how I can

Haven't seen any traction on this thread in the last two weeks, but I think you should connect on some social media to really gauge the interest. I am certain there would be a overwhelming support for a new track for the BR market. Also the hands on support to help get this started. Let us know what you need to get this engine going!

I raced at Redstick when time allowed for me. A huge plus was the indoor aspect. I think you'd be surprised at the response you'd have. Granted insurance wouldn't rape you.

Man I'd run 1/10 buggy in a heartbeat if a place like redstick ever opened up. Good times for sure

As others have said facebook would be a better place to gauge interest, indoor tracks almost always succeed with entry counts hobby shops and high rent are almost always the downfall. i for one would be over the moon about an indoor track close to BR and know other would be too.

I'm gonna be driving over 2hrs to club race at flowood MS. it's a guaranteed race when it's out of the weather. Doesn't even necessarily need walls, just a roof would be sufficient lol!

Even better if it were 1/10 scale friendly. Cheaper to get into. 1/8 nitro or ebuggy both cost so much to get started in. A nice spec short course class or something cheap and easy to get a crowd coming
