I have no rubber pre entries at this time-- if we have at least 10 cars we will run, but there must be 10 pre entries.

Thanks for the clarification. Must have drank too much coffee today. Checked the ROAR site, and rule states 3mm. Not sure where I got mixed up.

Don't ask me, ask the oval committee. That's the rule. Oval rules are different than onroad rules.

You can run whatever brushless motor you want in modified. Strap in that Novak 4.5 to that little 12th scale car and let her rip.

For stock, it MUST be a Roar approved stock motor. The cobalt 27 has not been approved.

On the Cobalt stock motor can it says it roar approved. I'm not trying to argue I'm just new and curious. Does Roar have to test it before it's legal? I guess what I'm asking is how does a motor become Roar legal?

The motor is not approved yet, I called and checked. Basically, They have to make a certain amount and it has to be sent in to be evaluated.

I'm sure it will get approved, but as of this weekend it isn't.

And the packaging doesn't say its roar approved, it says that it meets roar specs. My guess is that it was done that way so they wouldn't have to change the packaging.
