Isnt it strange how us off road guys can run into pipes, hit jumps and everything else. Yet I havent seen anyone in off road complaining about it stalling out when you do it. Maybe you on road guys should hit stuff as hard as off road guys do, maybe that will fix your issue.

P.S. I am just teasing.......nobody go crazy.

It is an onroad weekend at Fastlane but it sounds like several "Fastlane" guys will be headed to Omaha.

I think it's the initial power setting in the castle link software. It's best to put it on low, medium and high are for the 4s and above lipos in my opinion 1/8 and 1/5 scale applications.

I used the low settings with no problems and the buggy was ballistic with moderate timing in cheat mode.

Maybe because the offroaders don't notice that it stalls -because their off the track waiting for the marshall- so then it has time to "find" the motor again-or it "sits" on the start of the race waiting to give everyone else an advantage to let them go before you.

I had the stall in offroad Saturday when I ran the high setting on initial power setting and I also had the timing cranked on the motor. Lowered both those and stall went away, I still had the timimng in the motor from the GTB, oops.

Sorry- I don't buy the premise -if its available to change the parameters in the software, and it causes it to "stall" and find the direction of the motor before the start of the race- fix the software.... or take it out of the program.
Or in Ira's case, it "stops" on the track to "find" the motor again.

Use was a 1/12th scale - mid initial start, and zero timing on a Trinity duo 1.
And a few witness too.

I was going to let this topic go- and wait for the "next" software upgrade, but I am a little pissed off. I wasn't going to type this on a public forum but, since it keeps getting brought up.
I purchased my qty 2 Mamba Max Pro 1S esc for 149.95 off their website because it was the esc of the week that was a must have product at a decent price. And rumored it would be a website only special by their website (special edition), and I fiqured I would try it. Now Tower has them for 127.99 on their website.
Then Mike L tells us "on-roaders" very elegantly we are a bunch of idiots and don't know what we are doing followed up by a Post Script...

I tried the Tekin's this past weekend, and all I can say is "wow". They fiqured something out... CC are you hearing or listening?.

So now I am going to sell them or ask for a refund.....
