The 2015 ROAR Region 8 10th Scale Offroad Championship will be determined by a 3 race series with each race counting towards the championship (no throwouts). Race dates and locations are:

June 20 - Blue Groove Hobbies & Raceway in Des Moines, IA
August 8 - Hobbytown HobbyPlex in Omaha, Nebraska
October 3 - Fastlane Raceway in Blue Springs, MO

These tracks are teaming up to give racers in Region 8 a multi-race championship series rather than a single championship race. Our Region 8 champions will be those who demonstrate both speed and consistency throughout the series. Champions will be crowned in the following classes:

2WD Stock Buggy (17.5 blinky)
2WD Mod Buggy
4WD Mod Buggy
2WD Stock Stadium Truck (17.5 blinky)
2WD Mod Stadium Truck
2WD Stock Short Course
2WD Mod Short Course

Entry Fees: $25 for 1st class; $15 fo additional classes

ROAR Rules apply. ROAR membership required (may be obtained at the track).
All 3 races count towards the championship
Series trophies awarded to the top 5 finishers in each class.

Weekend race schedule"

Friday
Open practice from 11 AM to 7 PM
Seeding practice runs begin at 7 PM

Saturday
Last chance practice - 8 AM
Qualifying - 9 AM (best 2 of 3 qualifiers using qual points)
Mains -- (8 Minute A Mains, 6 minute lower mains)

Actually the plan is to run the Region 8 race on the outdoor track like we did last season. The weather in early October is usually pretty good.

Results from round 2.

Fastlane Raceway is hosting the final race of the 2015 ROAR Region 8 Championship Series for 10th scale offroad vehicles on October 2nd and 3rd. The race will be held on our 85' x 190' outdoor track. This is the final race of the 3 race series for the championship. Trophies will be awarded to the top 5 finishers in points

ROAR membership is required and is available at the track. ROAR rules apply in all classes.
