Will the races mostly be on Saturdays or Sundays? I have family in St. Louis, and I am a huge Cardinals fan, and I like camping, so I might try and coordinate a trip to do all of these at one weekend.

Just chiming in here to say Randy has been putting together plans for this project for awhile now and has lots of track experience at the 1:1 level.

His location is a stone's throw from 70 and I'm looking forward to seeing the facility come together. 1/5 scale racing is going to be awesome.

I've been praying for a 1/5th track close to St Louis.

Thanks for all your work and I hope you get BIG turnouts for years to come.

I work a Checkered Flag Hobby Country in South St Louis County (Concord area). We would be glad to talk you up and give out any info on your track.

Good info would be:

Your schedule
what classes run on which day
what time sign-ups and racing starts
will electric be available?
Should we bring tables and chairs?
Will there be food and drink on-sight or nearby?

Thanks again for opening a 1/5th friendly track.

Good news to hear! 1/5 is a really fun class and should help this track to be successful. Leave the super-cross jumps and big air for the 1/8th scales at other tracks and run these big 'ol fellers like their full scale counterparts; more fun and less damage to vehicles, track and people!

From speaking to him last week and seeing the plans this is what he's going for. It's a scaled down 1:1 track with rolling jumps. The idea is to keep them on their lids for less damage and tighter racing.

I've always held off on 1/5 scale because I've had nowhere to run them. I'm looking forward to finally pulling the trigger on one after seeing whats popular here.

I was looking for a RC track near my in-laws, and Google still shows this place as open.
