So it was mainly adjusting driving styles to suit the different braking style of the brushless system.

Wouldn't programming some drag brake help a little?

I'm sure I'll keep it, but if I bought a B/L I'd have too many speedo's. Sounds like a good reason to buy another car..........

Yeah, the drag brake was the whole deal...and the way the torque came on..a little "strong". If you could get it setup right they would be right there.
I really think 19T is awesome at HT...just about as much as you can handle...especially with those big yellow boards!

Just got home from Hobbytown picked up some take-off 27s and a Monster stock pro motor and some pinions. Hey Charlie is there anything else I need for for racing in the Stock class?

Hey guys - I plan on heading over several times this summer. I would like to run open mod on rubber, and 19T sounds like it will be a popular one this year, but am open to running stock if it's big.

I guess this means I'm going to have to finish my car after all.

Well that was a nice practice day. Good to get out and run a layout. Long ovals out in the street was getting a little old. The wide lanes were a pleasant change. The boards can be brutal, but Carter didn't break anything I couldn't fix. I think once the temps got up to bearable there wasn't as high a risk for plastic snapping as when we first started. It's the nature of the beast I guess. Go fast....hit hard and ouch. Go a bit slower and control better....no board smackin'. It's a lot easier to lap a car running on three wheels than four! LOL
