Short course
That's cool. "Stock" trucks here are pulling wheelies the entire length of the straight anyway in some cases. Seems to me that defeats the purpose of calling it a stock class anyway. Any faster and the trucks would be drivable to only a select few. I assume no brushed, stock Slash-type classes anymore?

Well I think you should have what ever motor you can drive in it. The problem I have with people dropping in an 8.5 or even a 10.5 is if they do not know how to lift for the turns or people in front of them and they smash the tar out of any thing that gets in front of them. that is what was happening to me this last weekend there was a guy that was like Velcro to me that had too much motor for what he could do.. so he was slow in the infield and I would pass him then get a few trucks away then he would get one the strait and hammer the crap out of it and catch up with me and slam right into the back of me and send me out into the cheap seats and just use me as a pivot point.. then I would pass him back in the center and repeat.. and we did this for 7 laps in a row till I just said forget this and quit racing and just let him go and would not pass him again.. that is where the 17.5 class has some advantages if your in a class of Crash happy people..

Ditto - I "borrowed" a truck and turned a few laps and it was doing good out there! Track is sweet! It had a big motor in it too
