We are 30 days away from the 2011 Shootout and door prizes are starting to come in already. We are expecting large numbers again this year so please try to pre-register early so it will be easier for our race directors to get you into the computer. And remember if you pre-pay by 8/26 you get a free pit towel (1 per driver).

Making plans on this one. what are you pits is it a parking lot, grass lot? wondering what kinda table and chairs to bring. The normal Easy up and folding table and chairs I am guessing?

The store is located at the end of a strip mall so they have a cement parking lot. EZ-UP tents, tables, and folding chairs are the norm. In case of wind you might want to bring weights, straps, etc for the tent:

There are also little islands at the ends of each parking row that has a little bit of grass to pit in. Here is 1 in this picture but don't get fooled, the islands aren't very big:

You can also pit by the store since there is some shade coming off the front of it for most of the day:

If you have a small Featherlite trailer then you can pit out of there:

And of course you can always pit out of your car:

Does this help?

You can sign up the day of the race. You only need to pre-register to receive a pit towel and help out our race directors by getting you in the computer early. The majority of racers register at the track the day of a race.

For example last year we had 100 entires online and 218 total when it was all said and done.

This race is a blast. I went quite a few years back and we had a blast. Allergies kicked my butt and got drivers side window shot by bb gun but was awesome other than that LOL Track was at the old location. I think there are some pics floating around about that race.

Would love to see those old pics from the old store.

But you need to come and race at the Shootout again. Things are way different now.
