Just a little update on the tires. I tested quite a few this last weekend. It seems that Jconcepts rubber works really well on our track. I think double dees in Green are the way to go, but flip outs worked all right too. I used the new closed cell foams.

For fronts, I thought that rips in green was the most consistant, but red Losi tapers worked OK, but they were a little grabby and pushed at the end of the straight.

I'm going to try some barcodes and BK bars this weekend just to see what happens.

We've got a nice group of pre entries so far, I'd like to see more of course, so lets gets signed up!

Same thing. Jconcepts double dees, AKA gridirons, the losi eclipses work good too. Taller tires are working great too.

We're up to 60 entries with a couple weeks to go. There's a pretty good spread in all classes, but Mod Buggy is the largest so far.

Mike Garrison got the plaque design done today and shirts are being processed. Everything is coming together nicely.

I hope to see all the region 8 gang make it over to the plex for an old fashioned throwdown! I may even bring a couch and some blankets to sleep on in the morning like we all did in Chillicothe at one time or another.

If any of you guys want a size specific T-shirt you need to be signed up by this weekend. I'm ordering some extra xl and xxl shirts, but they will be limited.

Big spike in entries today. We're up to 75. Signups will stay open on rcsignup.com until the day of the race, but if you want to reserve your t-shirt size you have be signed up by this Friday before 4pm.

We're well over 100 entries now. The plaques are on the way, the shirts are ordered. All that's left to do now is finish the layout next week and get ready for a busy weekend.

registration will remain open till the day of the race.

See everyone next week!

Here are the results. I'm a dummy and had to screw up something this weekend. I had the tie breakers set wrong in the computer for the ROAR rules. I really wish they would go back to the third main instead of time. It makes things a lot less confusing.

I didn't catch it until it was brought up to me during the last plaque, so some of you will have the wrong ones.

The only thing that it affected was a couple middle positions in mod buggy and mod 4wd. I'm super sorry for the mistake. I think Dustin and Jason need to swap plaques for mod buggy.

Other than that it was a fantastic weekend. I had a great time meeting a lot of new faces and seeing a lot of the old ones. Hope to race with all of you soon.

Great weekend of racing no doubt!!!

Congrats to HobbyTown and Alex for a top notch racing facility, that I'm sure will be a bench mark in our region for years to come. Can't wait to come back and run there again.

As far as the mod buggy final results go, me and Dustin will hash it out some how. I think it's pretty save to say it could have easily gone either way.

Thanks again for the great weekend
