Wichita R/C Raceway could use a little help
Below is an online petition for lighting improvements. The track needs 2000 signatures in order to present it to the city.

Is the Witchita track interested in hosting a KS ProSeries event in 2010?
I've been kinda lazy as of late with the new baby around, and I am just now trying to get the series put together.
LMK, and I'll be trying to get in touch with Kelly as well.

Kelly is still running the show, but the club is being reorganized. We have actual club meetings now (the next one is tomorrow if you're interested) to work out details and problems/issues. The last one was very friendly and progress was made. Even the guys with bad history seemingly buried the hatchet. Nick didn't even try to pick a fight with any old guys... 
Our biggest goal is to get people racing here again, and then from there we are determined to prove that the local facilities are some of the best in the region and we are determined to get big races here.
So to say it differently, we are starting over and doing things differently.

Racing at Wichita
There will be racing at the Wichita race track this year, it will just be later than hoped for.The new lay-out is coming along nicely, just need some sun to dry out track so as we can get back on it to work. Also the website is still there along with the forum, but old bookmarks to the forum area will not work as it has changed location. All you have to do to get to it is go to Wichitarcraceway.com then follow the link to the forum that can be found at the top of the front page just put mouse over Home and bingo Forum button appears. But before going to the forum area you might want to check out other things on the front page of website to learn more about the Wichita track. The address above is and has always been the official link to imformation about the Wichita track. Again there will be racing at Wichita R/C Raceway this season, hope to see everybody new and old again real soon!
