On Saturday August 1st D&M Speedway will host the "Wells Fargo Fall Shootout" trophy race, presented by our good friends at Wells Fargo. Come join us as this is sure to be a fun event packed with great racing, prizes and did I mention GREAT RACING??!! Plaques will be awarded to the top three in each class. Below are the classes & event times...........



Track opens at 7am, Open Practice & Registration will begin at 7am.
Registration & Practice closes at 10:30am, with qualifying starting at 11am.

Qualifying
2 rounds at 6mins each

Mains
1/10 Mod/Nitro St. Trucks, 1/10 Monster Trucks & Brushless Buggy
A-Mains 20mins, B-Mains 10mins-2 will bump up from all lower mains.

1/8 Arena Trucks, 1/8 Sportsman & Expert Buggy:
A-Mains 30min, B-Mains 10mins-2 will bump up from all lower mains

Classes
1/10 Mod/Nitro Stadium Trucks
Monster Trucks
1/8 Arena Trucks
1/8 Brushless Buggy
1/8 Sportsman Buggy
1/8 Expert Buggy

Entry Fee's
$20 for first entry, $15 for second entry

Pre-Registration will open at 10am on Monday July 27th for this event. The first person to sign up using the PR will receive a door prize on race day!!! Good luck!

Also, I've been told the folks at Wells Fargo is trying to put together some goodie bags filled with coupons, gift cards & items from area business. Everyone will recieve one for each paid entry.

Calling all short course racers.....

I'm adding a short course Slash/SC10 class to the Wells Fargo Trophy race being held on August 1st. Bring your short course trucks to D&M and come join us for a fun filled race day.

I've already placed the order for plaques, but our good friends from Elk Creek Engraving are going to provide trophies to the top three drivers in the A-Main.

All trucks must be in STOCK order. Only tires, body and radio can be changed.

Qualifying: 2 rounds at 5min each
A-Main: 6min

Wells Fargo Fall Shootout will be this Saturday.....

Just got off the phone with Larry L. abit ago and hes got some goodies from a few local business. Each racer will recieve a goody bag with payed entery along with a chance to win a couple of gift cards from DEE & MEE Hobbies. There will be a couple gift cards worth $25 and the grand prize worth $50.

Up above is a pic of the trophies that will be up for grabs in the Short Course Trucks (Slash/SC10) Class this weekend during the Wells Fargo Fall Shoot-out. This was kinda of a last minute decision to include the class in the event, so I hope maybe the picture of the hardware will get some of ya excited about racing short course this weekend.

Elk Creek Engraving has furinished the trophies and they're on display at Dee & Mee Hobbies. If by chance your in the shop this week check em before leaving, just ask Rich or Robert and they'll point them out to ya.

Trophies will be handed out to the short course class only, all other class will receive plaques.

Just got back from the track, just wanted to let everyone know I've spent the afternoon giving the track a good work over. I dont think I've ever seen the track in this nice of shape EVER!! All the jumps have been reworked and the lanes are as smooth as glass. Special THANKS to Mr. Larry Langley for providing some extra help. See you guys tomorrow.
