If you think that you may want to run stock over mod, and go the 13.5 route, get a sensored system. I like LRP and Speed Passion. Sensorless systems are ok, but cog, and I hate cogging. For mod, anything goes. It's a chevy vs ford issue. I like Castle for open mod, though they are technically not ROAR legal, so if you ever wanted to attend a ROAR race, you MAY have to use a diff motor, depending on who the tech person is. But I love mine. You don't really have to worry about thermalling them.

Lipo - Any. Orion or Peak are great, I plan to pick up the Reedy when they become available.

The MM 5700 cogs?????? Cogs more with the 13.5 than the MM 5700 motor?? Might have to go back to Novak with a 5.5 or maybe a 3.5!!!!!
