10-4 - didn't catch it the 1st time I read it regarding the body and the look of the car. Traxxas has really stepped up with quality replication.

Yes the design of safety standards integrated into the design have gotten better. The US/Euro bumpers are good evidence of a band-aid to sell cars state-side.

Still has alot of influence though in what I think I see - high belt lines, larger A/B/C pillars, etc. But that just might be the style they are going for too.

Hate to bump an old thread, but this car seems to have done well. Guys are already hitting 120 mph with it. Smart move by Traxxas to get in this niche of cars.

I can't believe people don't like the new mustang and old Omni in this thread.

I like the older mustang bodies that company sells. It would be nice to see more angles of the notchback body. Can't believe they had a red Grand National body. That's gross.

I like the new mustang, but the Ford GT body looks better.

I would hate to scratch either of them.

Very true. The only way to get around that is to have a shelf body and no elf.

My point is exactly what you said...
For years all the RC companies have offered something similar.
To watch traxxas fund and support a real race team and charge what they do for there RTR's is irritating to say the least.
Then go after Hobbico for a steering design...That makes no sense!
Does traxxas fund a real race team?

No RC racing team. Or any RC races. They do sponsor real off road trucks, Force Funny car and a few other events. But nothing in the RC world. From what Iíve learned over the past 8 years is they once were involved in RC racing. But that long past.

How 'bout the Cadillac bodies! They look great and, to me, this indicates they now have a GM license. Hopefully we get other GM bodies for this car and the TRX-4!

I posted this over in the other 4Tec thread. Had same thought, opens up a new line of bodies with GM. Since they had been Ford exclusive till this.

Clear and pre cut for $38 itís bad.
