Default Derek buono said about Indonesia

ini statement terbaru dari Derek Buono di S-Grid

"...Expose RC to places that can barely afford to eat...sweet. We need to have these people that live on .89 per day into a multi thousand
dollar hobby. Brilliant ...."

But if a magazine tell you a shitie things about your country, then will you still buy the Mags ?????? your choice off course.

USA is powerful cos they don't take shit from other country.

Just a thought guys.

My point exactly ,...

kalo mau ada kritik harusnya related to RC...

Saya baru dapet bocoran ternyata Derek dan geng nya itu tadinya pengen world champ di adakan di US. tapi IFMAR tetep mau di Indo, Jadi dia ngotot terus. eeeehh any way, it's done and a big success.

Conggrat to Jhon Agus Team dan semua anak rc yang berhasil menyelenggarakan World Champ !!!!!!!

ya, kalo gue sih mungkin tetep beli mag nya. abisnya dari beberapa rc mag yg gue beli, xtreme tetep yang paling bagus. rc mag yang laen iklannya lebih gila jauh dari xtreme. (gue gak beli regularly loh, tiap bulan beli random)

lagian walaupun kita gak bisa bales ngomong ke derek, toh orang laen yg ikutan world tau kok bagaimana indo. apalagi ternyata world champ nya sukses. biar orang2 sendiri yang menilai hehehe.
toh kalo di pikir2, indonesia emang agak kacau kan? miskin kan?
tapi tetep aja gue bangga jadi warga indonesia

Congrats untuk Pak John Agus & Team semua panitia dgn event sukses kemarin,
Biasalah ada yang ga demen Indon, namanya manusia apalagi negara pasti ada cacatnya, ga ada yang sempurna, even konsep demokrasi 'agung' mereka itu sendiri so funny and ridiculous,

Please, Please understand him,
Perhaps.. he have to answer his own question on why Extreme RC sales volume in this area (SEA) here are very frustrating low while other competitor are mostly always bigger...

after scratching his head, a good answer..
that there's no other way people in this country are can afford buying Extreme RC, as they only have 89 cent / day..
hmm.. its why Extreme RC sales volume in here are very very low..

Ridiculous, if your target customer don't buy your mags it doesn't always mean they don't have money,
nothing wrong with them and you flame on them,
it could be your mags is not good enough (cr*p) and others magazine are far better and objective,
well.. accept this reality DB,

plus with those un-welcome comment is such a 'very good' Public Relation lesson indeed, he (and Extreme RC) perhaps thinking that they are BIG enough then doesn't need more CUSTOMER anyway,

yes, BIG ego, big ballon, nuthin inside..

If you're going to talk shit, why not post it in english, or post the other post I've made where I post something that makes sense and you just ignore it. I love it when other countries talk crap about the usa, or people in the USA and act just like the people they are complaining about.

I have nothing against any other country or people from there, but I can recognize factors other than "we have a track" as a reason to have a race. Just like if we had a race in the worst place in the USA, I'd complain about it there and have been just as vocal here when we have races in the middle of the woods. What good does it do the industry.

krisnata, I can post all the ignorant posts you have stated on SGRID as well, and all the US guys will say you're a moron too. Just because I say what people are thinking and actually what's good for racing and not just "politically correct" you have some hard on for me, which is fine. Talk away. But anybody who says that any track deserves to have a race just because there is a track is a moron, and that seemingly includes you.

My quote later of below doesn't seem to have such a bad vibe but you avoid it....

Chris, JQ has lots of history basically bad mouthing anybody who says
that races should be held in any location that has a track. His view is
very onesided, as a racer. A racer will race anywhere, but I get to see,
and hear another side of the story because I'm "in" the industry. I hear
lots of talk, and more by the month of manufacturers not seeing the
"return" in racing. I do see that return, but I also see a "racing
culture" that doesn't see the responsibility to the people that send
them to these races that it has to make fiscal sense.

I'm glad that there may be a few people in these countries that run, and
if they show up at a worlds that really is great. But in the larger
scheme of things there really isn't a market in lots of these countries
other than a small number. We don't have large TV contracts like F1, or
the travel budgets. It really isn't healthy or beneficial to the future
of racing to have the most prestigious race out of the market.

Racing, and racers need to realize that we're at a point where we need
to be racing for more than just the guy who wins. We can make RC bigger,
but it's not in small countries with no market.

Anyway, go USA..you bunch of sissy, egotistical fools.

Like I said above, lots of people look at it from one perspective, and I look at it from more. Was it a good race, yes, that can happen anywhere, but remember when I said it earlier that in order for RC to move forward we need to stop wasting money on having races with NO market. It's not healthy for the industry.

Call me a fascist, or whatever ignorant name you'd like to say I am. You've got an opion and so do I, but I still have never put you down, or personally attacked you because you think that we need as an industry to waste money. I hear the north pole has a track, that's good use of money...

The difference in culture is that here we don't hate other countries or wish them dead. If your country doesn't want to be seen as a country that practices what is preached by terrorist or any other group that killing a person because he's a US citzen, then do something about it and prove me wrong.
