So who are you? People are not gonna be behind some fly by night operation(not saying thats what this is). More information as in regaurds to who is behind the whole deal and where it is going to be located would go a long way to getting people behind you and your efforts.

This is not some fly by night deal!
My Name is Matt Hickman I live in the town of Kalkaska I have been in this hobby for many years and built and ran a hobby shop in Florida with an off road and oval track. When I was down there we had big name people racing on the tracks and sponsor's like Jconcepts the tracks was Roar approved . It was very successful, unfortunately we had to move back home because of family issues. I plan on making the same kind of tracks up here and successful I have ran into people like that and made it without them and can do it again.

Hi Matt,
Up here we are so use to being jerked around and people talking big and then nothing happens. Your timing was just a few days after a local favorite track ran it's last race (nmrrc) in Gaylord. The talk was that CD hobbies in kalkaska was going to pick it up.
Everyone thought you were him just putting out feelers.
Myself I will be there. I drive all the way across the state to run in kalkaska all winter long.
I need some outdoor 1/8th for the summer.

I hope you can make it work as Kalkaska is only 25 minutes from me. Would love a place to race my 8th scale up here. It's just like Full Bore said though, so that's why the hesitation.
I myself have been into the hobby since 1987. I have worked at many tracks and hobby shops growing up, and have seen my fair share close up shop. I wish you the best of luck though.

No, I have nothing to do with CD Hobbies. Chris has a cool indoor track, but us guy's that have the gas buggies need a place to play too. I was brought up with a Business scene. I have had many successful business's. this one is going to be the best one yet. I plan on having a well known R/C Complex. Like I have said, same with the last place we plan on having big name people showing up. The more support we get from other people the better the tracks will be.
