I-69 Raceway hosting 2014 ROAR Region 5 electric off-road regional race
it's official I-69 Raceway will be hosting the 2014 ROAR region 5 race!!! We will post more details in the coming days. For the latest information on races go to i69raceway.com and click the Facebook link.

The dates for the race are 7-18 and 7-19. Practice on Friday July 18th and racing on Saturday July 19th.

* 17.5 CLASSES REQUIRE A 10 CAR MINIMUM PREREGISTRATION TO COMPETE FOR TROPHIES BY THE JULY 1st CUTOFF. In the next few days an event will be created on rcsignup for preregistration. With weekly reminders about the cutoff.
We will have nice TQ & Podium Trophies. In an effort to provide the best possible hardware we REQUIRE A 10 CAR PREREGISTRATION IN THE 17.5 CLASSES BY JULY THE 1st. We want to run these classes so please preregister so we can get trophies. 17.5 is not locally supported, so we require 10 car minimum preregister for each individual 17.5 class offered.
ROAR REGION 5 CHAMPIONSHIPS REQUIRE A $35 YEARLY MEMBERSHIP OR A $20 ONE DAY MEMBERSHIP
Race Fees will be 30, 20, 15 for 1st 2nd & or 3rd classes
As inspired by last years Event Host Summit RC of Fort Wayne, this years track will feature Formula One style curbing in the apexes. And we look forward to carrying on the great spirit from last years event.
Race Format includes 3 rounds of Qual Points with 1 drop & AAA mains for Modified Buggy & 1:8 EP Buggy classes only. All other classes will be single A mains. 8 cars will lock to the mains with 2 bumps from lower mains.
5 minute qualifiers with a 2min warmup 1min driver exchange puts us on 8min clock. No breaks between rounds until the resort after round 2 and before the mains
1:10 AAA Mains will be 7min with 1:8 EP being contested with 10min AAA mains
Friday Practice opens at 1pm with controlled practice as the track becomes congested, & concludes at 11pm.
Saturday track opens 7am Registration closes 9am Qualifying starts 930am
Saturday Practice is for racers unable to attend Friday Practice. No Exceptions & strictly enforced!
We will have lighting for this race.

There is a pit building but it will fill up very fast! Safe bet is to bring all the outdoor essentials!

The track will be ran consistently moist for all heats

Track opens Friday 1pm-11pm for practice. Controlled practice will begin once necessary due to traffic. The track will be kept moist Friday to run the track in. We will also keep the track moist for racing. Saturday the track opens 730 and qualifying begins 930. 3 rounds of qual points.
